unfair life

Alyssa wish that what happened earlier is just a dream. That when she wake up, all we're back to normal, the happy family that she used to know before is the same right now. She thought that earlier is just only in a drama scene that she always watched.

She can't believe, everything happens so fast.

And now, she's regretful of not begging her father to stay.

While leaning on the wall outside their house with cigarettes on her hand.

"what will be the future await us?, I don't know what will I do to my family ( silent crying). I'm a college student yet."

deep breath

"dad why did you do this to us?, we're happy back then. What is the lack to our family that you are not contented?. "

"You didn't give me the time to ask you this. (sobbing) "

"I miss you already dad, how can I continue of what you have started? "

(looking to the sky) " you're so unfair" (angry while crying)

She enter their house after she's done crying.

When she look at her mom's room, they we're sleeping. She thinks that the two were tired of crying that's why they were sleep already.

-Only the three of them know what had happened. Alyssa never know where is their father and worst is that he didn't left even a single penny for them. But in her mind, she know that her mother knows where her father is. But she doesn't have the courage to ask because whenever she look at her mother her expression in her face were emotionless.

-Alyssa never said it especially to her bestfriend of what had happened.

Days pass by, she can't concentrate in her class because she's always thinking about her family.

-Megan wonder about the actions and emotion of Alyssa's face, it's different from the past. Her smile we're fake that's why she always ask alyssa if she had a problem but she never got an answer.

In the morning, instead of going to school, Alyssa skip classes and looking for a job so that she can provide the needs of her family.

at school..

"megan you are the best friend of aly, where is she? -tristan

"i keep texting her sir but she didn't reply my message"

"a best friend who doesn't know anything about her (in low voice), poor you megan"- trina

"(raise her one eyebrow while looking at trina) shut up will you? "- megan

"if anyone of you see her, please tell her that i want to talk to her in my office "- (writing in white board while talking)

"Is she have a problem megan?"( in low voice)- john

" Did you also notice it? "

" Yes a little, she's not the alyssa that i have known before, her smile is not genuine."

"yes me too, i noticed it but i doubted her answer that she's okey. "(sigh)

"stop talking please"- tristan

-Megan keep on texting and calling Alyssa but she didn't receive a response from her that's why she's worried about her.

-on Alyssa's side. she keep on looking a part time job that suits in her vacant time.

"(in her mind), keep fighting self, I know you can do it. If I can't find a job right now, I will be absent again tomorrow, (sad) more lessons to catch up"

-because of non stop walking, she's getting tired so decided to sit on the vacant bench and looking at the people passes by.

-evening came...

"you didn't show up"

-because of thinking something she didn't notice that there's someone sitting beside him and she slowly turn her head and stare at him in the eyes with surprise face.

"s.. sir,. I'm...... I'm sorry for not asking your permission." (sad face)

"I'm used to it"

(silence)

"megan worried about you "

"(shock face) oh my gosh! (she pick up her phone to her bag) (she's panic while holding her cp) 70 miscalls and.. and 30 messages from her, what.. whhaaat should i tell her" (looking at her teacher with confuse face)

"do you have a problem?"

"(panic face become sad face) ahm no sir "

"if no then why are you absent? I conducted a surprise quiz earlier."

(looking at him again with cold eyes)

"thanks to you i already got zero from your quiz (stand up ), i knew you want me to failed in your subject"

"is this really your attitude towards your instructor?, be a responsible and respectful one aly"

"aly? (angry) you don't have the right to call me that... sir"

( because she will just remember her dad, her dad gave it that nickname to her)

( looking at his eyes ) "by the way, it's the real me, I'm a bad person."

( and she walk fast away from tristan)

-alyssa doesn't know what should she do because her heart beats fast when she saw tristan sitting beside her. Even if she is far away from him, her heart doesn't stop.

"what happened? ( while touching her chest) "

"it's the same feeling when I first saw him. I thought it was just normal but whenever I saw him my heart beats fast." ( talking to herself)

" (sigh) (deep breath) stop it self, it can't solve our problem okay? "

-she decided to go home and continue looking a job on weekend.

-while entering her room.

"unnie my exam will be on 3rd week of this month, and you know that our school is pay first policy. (sad face) - monique

-Monique is a 3rd year highschool and she was enrolled in a private school which is exclusive for girls only.

"yes Monique i knew, don't worry I will find ways to pay your tuition okey? "

"thank you unnie( and she hug alyssa)

"(patting her head) where's mom? "

"(sad face ) she's always lying in her bed unnie and she eats a little."

-they went to their mom's room

" Mom, (in a low voice) -aly

"(turning her head to her two daughters with no emotion in her face) I miss your father.. I'm tired of waiting aly" ( start crying)

"(she hugged her mother) please mom be strong for the two of us, he won't come back"

"nooo ( angry) don't say that, get out (pointing at the door) "

"no mom please stop it, he didn't love us"- Monique

"you're a liar, because of the two of you he left me. He went to her other woman because she's pregnant with his son( crying in loud voice) "

- the two we're shock of what have they heard from their mother.

"( start crying) mom is it true? -aly

"he dreamt of a son but I can't give him, instead the two of you.The two of you are the reason why he left."

"Why?????? Why it all happened so fast? I love your dad, i love him too much. Why I can't give him a son? what is the problem? " (crying)

"mom please stop (hugging her mother) stop it please, me and Monique love you so much"

"I miss the old you mom, please come back"

"mom, I will accompany you whenever you wanted to walk outside. I'm here always mom"- Monique

" I just really miss your dad, our family bonding and our laugh"- mother

-They cry each other to ease away the pain.
