SCENE – VEIL-TOUCHED FIELD AT SUNSET
A vast, empty meadow outside the Spirit Academy shimmers faintly—where reality and the Veil gently overlap. It’s quiet, almost peaceful. Raiko stands alone in the field, his cloak billowing, spectral particles drifting through the air like fireflies.
He stares at his hand, now half-consumed by glowing sigils—evidence of his growing bond to the Crimson Veil.
⸻
FLASHBACK AUDIO (overlayed as echoes):
Nael (past voice):
“Don’t walk it alone…”
Kazuya (past voice):
“Some chains never break, even when you grow stronger…”
Master Tae (past voice):
“The veil doesn’t unravel for free.”
⸻
Raiko (quietly, to himself):
“Too late. I already opened it…”
Suddenly, the sky cracks faintly with a thin red vein—just a flicker—and closes again. Raiko doesn’t flinch. He kneels and plants his hand into the grass, whispering a spectral incantation.
From the ground rises a small memory bloom—a flower-like spirit construct that glows with stored memories. It flickers with a voice—not his own.
⸻
Mysterious Female Voice (from the bloom):
“Raiko… when the veil breaks again, I hope you remember who you were.”
Raiko stares at it.
⸻
Raiko:
“I won’t forget. Even if the others do… I’ll carry us all.”
He crushes the flower gently in his palm.
Cut to wide shot: the field grows darker as more red flickers pulse in the far sky. Storms of spirit energy churn just out of reach.
⸻
Fade to black.
Kairo:*eyes wide open* *gets up from his bed* *sigh* another day another spirit to exorcise.
