The hands that stained and tainted.

Kai could barely believe it. He was now tangled into a web. Alexanders web of power and influence. A web too sticky and too tight to actually get out of.

Kai sat curled on the edge of the bed, arms wrapped tightly around himself. The room was dark, shadows stretching long across the walls. His hands trembling not from the cold but from the traumatic experiences he could never fully forget.

He couldn’t sleep.

Every time he closed his eyes, the past clawed its way back. Into his nightmares...every night ever since he came to Moscow was filled with terror. Those faceless hands all over him again and again. Touching him like it was their right.

The clients. The promises. The way he’d smiled when he didn’t want to, the way he’d let hands touch him for the right amount of cash, the way it had all crumbled when the wrong man got involved. The man who ruined everything as if it wasn't ruined before. Putting gasoline on the never-ending flame.

He’d run. All the way to Moscow. And now... now he was here. Trapped in a stranger’s house hell no. What house? This place was a palace, caught under the gaze of Alexander Volko, the most dangerous man he’d ever met. The door creaked softly.

Kai flinched, snapping his head up. His eyes half lidded like he had been sleeping. But in reality he was overthinking things again.

Alexander leaned against the doorway, watching him with eyes like pale ice. And Kai could just feel the goosebumps all over his body as if a ghost just walked through him. The only light coming from the crackling fireplace and the slight slit of the curtain letting moonlight seep through onto Kai's face.

“I wondered if you’d sleep,” Alexander said quietly. His expression betrayed nothing. Nothing at all. "after all it is quite late at night...i hope you don't mind me visiting i do know it's the second time tonight..."

Kai’s throat tightened. He couldn't help but yell at Alexander the despair in his voice obvious. “Why do you care? You don't know me! Or my life! Your just some man who strode into my life pretending to be some mysterious mafioso @sshole who can change everything for me! News f#cking flash you cant!"

Alexander stepped inside, closing the door behind him with a soft click. Alexander poured himself a glass of whiskey and downed it without even breaking eye contact.

“I know everything about you, Kai,” he murmured, voice low. “I know what you did in Tokyo. I know the men you let touch you. I know the lies you told to survive. All for some cash."

Kai’s heart twisted painfully. Alexander always hit a nerve especially with sensitive subjects.

“You think I wanted that?” he whispered, his voice cracking. “You think I had a choice? You think i wanted to take d!cks up my @ss to survive!? To just live!? To put food on the table or to keep a roof over my own head!?"

Alexander crouched in front of him, eyes sharp, mouth curved in a faint, unreadable smile. Perhaps a smirk? Kai couldn't even tell the difference at this point.

“I don’t judge you,” Alexander murmured. “I understand survival. I had fought for it my whole life. some had it worse some better."

Kai shook his head, tears stinging at the edges of his eyes. “You don’t understand anything-”

Alexander’s hand lifted, fingers brushing lightly under Kai’s chin, tilting his face up. His pale blue eyes looking right into Kai's warm black ones.

“I understand more than you know,” Alexander said softly. “I understand what it’s like to $ell yourself piece by piece just to stay alive.” His eyes darkened. “But you’re not selling yourself anymore, Kai. Not to anyone else. My best friend used to be an escort. her name was Natalie. she was killed after getting involved with the wrong crowds...she killed herself i say. Dr#g overd0se."

Kai’s breath caught. Who the hell did Alexander think he was!? (a mafia boss duh?)

“You’re mine,” Alexander whispered, voice curling around the words like silk and steel. “I’ll keep you. I’ll protect you. But you belong to me now. This is not a request, fox. It is an order and demand. A demand that not even god can break."

Kai’s hands clenched into fists, his whole body trembling. His rage and hurt clear in his body language and eyes.

“I’m not…” His voice broke. “I’m not some thing you can just own. I'm not an object you can possess...your no better than the men i let f#ck me..."

Alexander’s smile sharpened. He had Kai right where he wanted him. “Aren’t you tired of pretending you’re free? Your boss...your family and your friends they all abandoned you, didn't they? Right after they found out you tainted the family name...they pretended to be offended and hurt as if they ever even saw you as their own damn son. You will always be too blind to see the world around you I will force your eyes open if I must. I can be different if you give the chance to be, my little fox."

Kai’s chest twisted, his heart pounding so loud it hurt. Different!? In what way!?

He wanted to run. He wanted to scream. But more than anything, he wanted someone literally anyone to look at him and stay. Even if his body was tainted. Used and violated. pr0stitutes had no luck so why should he? He let those men fuck him as he just held back tears Kai could remember them just using his body. The faceless hands all over his bare skin leaving marks of pain. Then the money...the money his stupid boss would give him after all the shit that happened.

Even if it was the last person he should ever trust. He had a sinking feeling that Alexander was more than just what he came off as. more than what met the ye and heard the ear.
