FLASHBACK

"Mom, where are we headed to?" Belle asked as she hold her mother's hand so tightly. The woman chuckled. As she squats, she gave her daughter a tight hug and a kiss on the forehead then said, "We're going to meet your father, but, you must keep this as a top secret okay?" She then nodded and hugged her mother, "Really mommy? I can finally meet my father? I'm so excited mommy! I wanna meet him right away!!" But then hours passed by, there's no one who came. After some more time, my mom's phone rang. It seems like she's arguing with somebody on the phone--then that was the first time I saw my mom cried and hugged me as she apologized. I cupped her face and said, "I don't really mind not knowing who my dad is as long as you'll always be by my side mommy!" She then cried harder and once again seek for forgiveness.

As Belle's growing older, she lost interest on knowing who her father is. The same scenario keeps on happening all over again, not until her 16th birthday where an unexpected situation occurred which gave her a bit of hope.

Her mother was very excited towards this day 'cause she said there's a present that even her didn't thought of its possibility in happening. With that being said, she knew her mom talks about her anonymous father who doesn't even keep his promises. Belle doesn't want to spend the day waiting for nothing again like those supposed meet-ups in the past but she couldn't say no to her mom. She wore a tattered jeans, a mint hoodie for the top and with her pair of converse shoes. Her mom calls her and asked if she's ready to go, while looking so happy as she answered the phone. Belle decided to just go with the flow. She then hold her mother's arms as they walk towards the amusement park where they usually wait.

BELLE'S POV

The amusement park where me and my mom usually wait during the past is said to be the place where my dad left my mom for her safety--I didn't really know their love story history or what-so-ever though. All I know is I just want this day to end.

"Mom, I'm going to buy drinks. I'll be right back in a minute" I said upon reaching the location. I turned around to take a look at my mom when I saw her talking in the phone and is very cheerful, she then gestured me to come quickly but I didn't 'cause I'm still waiting for the drinks. A man in a formal suit went near my mom and they talked for a moment--then as took my drink, I stared back at my mom who's enjoying talking with that rich looking guy. I squinted as mom pointed at me and the man turned around and take a look at me, he then gave me a smile--a smile that made me feel so warm to the point I feel the tears on my eyes build up, and then he wave goodbye. I gave him a sly smile and nodded as if he would understand the meaning behind my gesture.

I rushed towards my mom and asked him who that guy was. Not believing what she said, I laughed out loud and said "Mom be serious okay? He couldn't be and he can't be. It's really impossible for him to show up after all these years." However my mother gave me the sweetest and happiest smile that I ever seen and with that I finally knew that, that man is my father. How unfortunate I wasn't able to look at him up close...."Mom, what's his name?" I asked, "You'll know sweetheart" she responded.
