Lending my Strength

It's been 3 weeks since I was friends with this exotic owl guy. Honestly he isn't to bad, but can get annoying. He has this emo mood swing when ever something or someone gets the best of him. For some rare chances, he doesn't get what he wants. I would guess it happens 3 times a month.

I had already met some of the other second years in the volleyball team along with the first and third years. They weren't all bad.

I could say that bokuto was over working himself. I didn't know why but he seemed to become more tired every day. He was missing most of his cross-court shots or either failing to hit the ball. He lost courage every match we played too. We all didn't know what to do then. But today I figured, why not pull him into his real self.

At School~

bokuto: "Hey akasshi!!!"

akasshi: "oh wow, not shouting my name today?"

bokuto: "shut upppp" he whined.

akasshi: " chill bokuto-san, also, I wanted to ask." He looked at me confused. "Why are you pushing yourself to the max limit?"

It was quiet for two minutes but he suddenly muttered something softly.

akasshi:" hmm...? what was that?"

bokuto:" I said it's because I can't get stronger. If I don't get better then why should I be on the team?!? I'll be useless... to you and the others... and ... I WANNA BECOME THE TOP!"

I looked at him. He looked at the floor right after he said that. He was a owl for sure. But he wasn't fully grown. I smiled a bit.

akasshi:" Bokuto, you can get strong yourself but that comes to an end sooner or later, but with the others you can learn more. Pushing yourself is only making you lose your own learning period. Your team mates are what help you learn on the way. And I'm one of them, and I'm willing to lend you my strength to help you be the best and go to the top. if it's fine with you at least. And,... I know the rest of the team is waiting for you to ask for their help and guide to."

He looked up. All I could see was tears falling down his face. But with the water rushing down, he had a big smile placed on him.

bokuto:"Akasshi, will you lend me your strength?..."

akasshi:"Don't have to ever ask me twice, same goes for the rest of the team. We know well and good that your the next new Ace and we'll be there for you, don't think they dont know how you feel, cause whatever you feel, they feel to."

He smiled again, while brushing his tears away he turned away and walked. But before leaving he mumbled a couple of words. Not a phase, not a full sentence nor a statement. Simply a word.

bokuto:" yeah."😏
