The rain poured down like tears from the heavens mirroring the sorrow that had become her constant companion.

lena stood at the edge of there family's old mansion.the once grand halls now echoing with the whisper of secrets and lies.

she clutched her violin case tightly,the familiar weight a small comfort against the weight of her family's betrayal.

As she turned to leave,a faint melody floated through the open window,a haunting refrain that seemed to capture the pain and longing that had been building inside her for so long,it was a melody she knew all too well,one that her mother used to play for her when she was a child,before the world turned cruel and her family's true nature was revealed.

Lena's fingers itched to hold her violin,to let music flow from her soul but for now she just stood there,frozen in time,as the rain washed away the memories of a life she once knew.

As lena stood there the melody grew louder,more insistent,she felt an over whelming urge to pick up the violin and let the music consume her the rain pounded against the pavement ,a rhythmic accompaniment to the haunting refrain.

With a new found determination.lena turned back toward the mansion,she would face what ever secrets and lies lay within,armed with the power music .

Lena's eyes wandered to the old photograph on her dresser.

It was a picture of her and her mother,smiling and laughing together.her mother had been a talented violinist,and lena remembered the countless hours they'd spent playing together.

music had been their bond,their escape.As she grew older,Lena began to realize that her family's wealth and status came at a cost.

her parents marriage was strained,and her father's business dealing were shrouded in secrecy.

The betrayal had come slowly incrementally.

But her mothers music had always been a source of comfort a reminded of Happier time.

As Lena stood in the rain soaked drive way,the melody still echoing in her mind,she felt a mix of emotions swirling with in her,grief,anger and betrayal wrestling for dominance,making her heart heavy.
