Scene – 4

When the whole university left the campus, Ravena was left behind everyone because she hates rushing, and she travels by bus every day. While walking towards the bus station, she enjoys her peace time while listening to music and loves having her lollipop, which she is unable to eat in university because she wears a mask every time. She loves to listen the music and get an escape from reality for a while.

When she reached home, she directly hugged the granny and said, “It was another tough day for me, I just can't stand people, even when I don’t talk to them, it irritates me when they approach me to know I'm like this. What the hell will they gain by knowing? Can't they just mind their own business? Sometimes I think I should transfer to the elite side, people who don’t care about others' lives and living. It makes me feel like I belong there.”

Granny smiled, patted her head and said “just take a deep breath, you've got lot in your head”. Go and freshen up the food is getting cold, we will talk further while dinning”. She smiled and went to freshen up quietly.

At the time, dining when Revena was peacefully enjoying her time,

Granny said, "Don't you think it is the right time to change? I don’t have any say in your life, as you are already more mature than your age but there should be some people whose company you enjoy and feel relaxed around them. I don't want you to be involved in any love relationship for now, as you are not ready for it after what you have gone through but a just friendship which is enough to fill the vagueness in your life”.

Revena smiled and said, "Firstly, granny you are the only one to whom I take advice and listen, you are the most important person in my life, there won’t be any day in my life when I won’t listen to you or obey you.”

Added in a lower tone, "But, I don’t need anyone as I got hit by reality so hard that all my dreams and expectations from people had washed away. At first, I was running away from reality as far as I could. In the end, life gave me a choice: either I continue with my marathon of life, or I stay by your side and begin a new journey. Now, see here I'm, all set and capable of differentiating between what my needs are, which are you and all my essentials for living, and what my wants are, which is to complete my mission and graduation.” So, granny, don’t overthink too much for me, or else I have to find Grandpa to think of you.”

When she was laughing, Granny said, “Don’t you dare to do anything crazy like this. I know you well; you are ready to take risks and do crazy stuff. What do you think I don’t know that you sneak out of the house at night? I know that too, you go out at night just for a walk, but don’t be too reckless”.

Revena said, “Granny you aware of the fact that I know how to fight back enough to kill anyone”.

Granny said You don’t need to use your hand in for your beauty is enough to kill anyone”. They laughed, and while getting up after finishing the food,

Revena laughed and said, “It is one of the reasons why I keep the hoodie on while going outside, I don’t want to attract any attention, it used to happen in the past, but now things are at peace”. So, my best attempt is to maintain this little peaceful life of mine.”

Granny smiled and said, “As you say, my lady”. They both laughed, did all the chores, and Revena led the way to Granny's room and made her sleep soundly.

While she was leaving, Granny held her hand, kissed her head, smiled, and said, “Good night, my brave knight.”

Revena smiled heartedly and said, “Have a sweet dream, my lady”, and left the room.

Granny thought, “I had never seen her honestly expressing her feelings in front of any outsider as she showed in front of me. She behaves as if her heart were made of stone and a rude person, but deep inside, she is afraid to open her heart to anyone and get another wound. God bless my child and protect her from evil beings”.

In the middle of the night again, that dream started hunting her, and this time it was from where it had stopped last time.

The dream is like this: on the day when she left the house in the morning, she went to school and as soon as the school got over, she directly approached her mentor and told him the whole story from grandpa's death to his father's arrival with a woman. Her mentor was a former officer and was a senior of her father.

Now he is the headmaster at the school, but his network is still on. He doesn’t do the missions, but assigns and guides the junior on how to do that. In the case of his student, he understood the gravity of the situation and decided to take steps for her, but at a small price. He is not a bad person, just wants to utilize the opportunity and the skills Revena has.Revena also agreed, as for her it was her task to achieve her goal even at a fast pace but with two conditions first she will only take admission if will be treated as a normal student, secondly she wants all her information which is to be provide to the university will be same as before adoption i.e., an orphan with guardian name mentors mother lastly, is if she succeed in her mission she need her posting out of the country and will be living her rest of the life there after the completion of her three years course.

Her mentor transferred her to the capital and got her admission to Silverhills for her mission, and she resided with her mentor's mother, i.e., granny. At first, she behaved coldly towards the granny as she behaved towards everyone, but slowly the granny tried to get close to the lonely child, and one night she let out all her anger and sorrow in front of the granny, hugged her tightly, accepted reality, and the granny both heartedly. The next morning, she was again jolted by the alarm and sensed that she had cried last night because of a past memory. The work that she does every morning is a part of her mission, she prepares all day and tasks to achieve the breakthrough.

After Caelum got free from the university, he went directly to meet the band of their university’s music club for practice. Even though many applied for the club’s membership, Caelum chose the members based on their talent, not on their will to join, and mostly boys are in the club. As Caelum knows, what is the motive of the girls to join the club, and he doesn’t like it if anyone messes with his passion.

Jack said, “This summer, there gonna be a fest in our university. Are you all ready for it?”.

Others said, “Of course, why not, but we will require funds, what are we gonna do about it?”.

Caelum said, “Why are you all stressing out on the funds? I'm also a member of this group, so we won't lack in the funding part. Just be grateful that we got an opportunity.”

Others said, “That’s right, leader”.

Caelum said, “I'm just a lead singer, that doesn’t make me a leader of the group, Jack will be the leader of our group always and forever”.

Jack said, “Come on, Caelum, I will burst into tears now if you won't stop”. Then everyone laughed, and Caelum took his leave to meet Lara.

Caelum invited his group to the club, and they partied till late at night. Between the parties, Caelum said I have news for you guys. Guess what?

Renly said, “Did you meet your ideal girlfriend?”.

Della smirked and said, “That is not possible. You know what high expectations our king has”.

Alder said, “Is it about your music?”.

Caelum smiled and said, “You know me too well, Adler, that’s my boy”.

Alder smiled and said, “Of course, we have been together for more than twenty years, we should know this much about each other”. Alder and Caelum gave side eye to Della and Renly, and all burst into laughter.

Caelum said, “Jokes apart, guys, I got a chance to perform on stage at the summer festival at the center of the city”.

Lara said, “That is a great opportunity, as there was a huge crowd last year might be this year it will be bigger than last festival.”

Della added, “ya, there are higher chances to have a larger crowd than before because the last one was epic, so maybe everyone is hoping for the best this year”.

Renly jumped at Caelum and said, “Now we will party all night, guys, to celebrate this”.

Alder said, “You had already planned to do so”.

Everyone looked at Renly, laughed, and cheered the drinking. After the party, they went their separate ways, and Caelum was with Lara to drop her at her home, and as they arrived,

she said, “Caelum, you're coming home, right? You promised me.”Caelum said, "Ya know, but the big event is coming, so I need to prepare for it, Lara, some other day”.

She said, “Okay, see ya”. They both kissed, Caelum left, and when Lara was at home, she started pondering that today's talk had hurt her. She didn’t realize that their relationship was temporary and fell in love with him.

She said to her inner self, “It's his fault; he should not pamper a girl and show kind gestures as if he is in love with that girl. Anyone can be fooled by it. And what the hell is his ideal type? I'm sure it would be like most gorgeous, hot, and adult to him. Whatever his type is, no one can handle his mood swings; he always plays on extreme poles, either inordinately sweet or hostile. But it would be so great to be the girlfriend of the most handsome man and a pop star too, oh god, I wish we didn't break up ever."

In the morning, the family has breakfast together every day.

Caelum thought this was the right time to talk to his father about the funding for festival and said, “Dad, I have something to say to you”.

His father said, “Finally, you have something to say, and if I'm right, it is related to money, right?”.

Her mother said, “Let him complete his part, Peter. Yes, my son, what is it?”.

Caelum looked to his father and said, “Thanks, Mom”. And added that “there is an event for which I want some funds”.

His father laughed and said, “I knew it, Nila, and I also know the fact that the fund is for some music event in our city, right?”.

Caelum, controlling his anger, tightened his grip and said, “Yes, you are right”.

His father, in a serious tone, said, “I don’t like to repeat myself, then too, I'm saying this for the last time that I won't support you in any way for your music, get it crystal clear this time”.

Caelum couldn’t control his anger, stood from his chair, and said, “Then let me make my scores even if you are unwilling to support me, I'm too unwilling to give you support by taking up your business. Goodbye”.

Caelum kissed his mother's forehead and said, “I won't be coming home again, Mom”. Her mother tried to stop him, but he left the house, and with the failure, went to her room.
