Episode 5 Ivy

My bad. I completely forgot about Windsor the moment Icky came. So I'm sure he is upset.

And now, he's standing a few meters away from us with his fists on his sides. He is obviously pissed.

"What is it, Windsor?"

I have to just play innocent and calm so that I won't provoke him further.

"You! Why were you more than eager to see him than me? You even dared to hug him like a leech though you knew that I am just around you watching?" He glared at us.

"I'm sorry.. It's just that I haven't seen my friend Icky for almost half a year because he was sick. So I got carried away when he came to visit me." I don't know why, but I really feel like I owe him an explanation about Icky and me.

Icky suddenly stepped infront of me. An act of being protective.

"Excuse me. You shouldn't be scolding Ivy like that."

"Shut up piglet! You have no say in our affairs. Ivy is my fiancee, so I have every right to get myself involved with everything that concerns her."

Hearing Windsor call Icky a piglet made my blood boil. I was about to retort back at him when Icky spoke ahead of me.

"No. You don't have the right to do that. You are not married yet. And I won't let her marry you. Ivy is mine! She will only marry me in the future!"

I didn't expect Icky to say that. He is just too adorable in trying to stand up for me. Hearing him said those cringy words made my anger cool down a bit.

"Don't worry about it Icky. You should head home now so that you could have a rest. You need it to get a lot better. Don't mind him."

"Ok. See you princess. I'll come back tommorrow." He listened and looked at me.

"See you tommorrow then." I smiled and as he get into their car.

I stood by the gate still clutching my doll while watching their car disappear right at the corner of the street. My heart feels heavy and I have no idea why.

I was startled when Windsor suddenly grabbed my doll and throw it into the dirty fish pond beside the wall of our yard. My mom decided to turn it into a fountain so it was neglected for a few weeks because the constructors didn't start the work yet due to some materials from abroad are still to be shipped to us.

I was so horrified while looking at my doll slowly sinking into the dirty water.

"Why did you do that?!"

His lips formed a mocking smirk.

"C'mon. What are you? A five year old? You're already too old to play with stupid dolls. And I don't want to see you accepting gifts from other boys from now on... Are we clear?" His eyes looks are cold.

I was lost for words! I don't even know what to say to him. I am in too much shock with his behavior that my brain can't even process the words that he is saying to me.

I looked at the pond again and I can't anymore see the doll. I'm sure it sinked already.

'No!'

I panicked and run towards the pond.

And without hesitation, I get myself down into the dirty water.

"What are you doing?! That water could make you sick!"

Windsor tried to pull me back but I swatted his hand away.

"I don't care! A good friend of mine gave me that doll. I won't let you have your way with it!"

He suddenly stepped back while glaring at me.

"Alright. Go ahead then.

I am your fiancee but you are betraying me on the very first day we met.

You will regret this Ivy Soo.

I'll always remind you of the choice and actions that you made today.
