...Time: 5 pm...

...Scene: First Day at College – A New Beginning...

The iron gates of MAMC (Delhi)College creaked open as the three girls stepped inside — their journey was just beginning.

Tanuja and Avni walked side by side, a familiar rhythm in their steps. They’d been best friends since they were ninth — their bond unshakable. Right behind them walked Diya, the quiet new girl with a nervous smile and eyes full of curiosity. Just a few hours ago, they’d discovered they’d be sharing the same hostel room.

The college building stood tall and elegant — red-bricked, ivy-covered, with tall glass windows that caught the morning sun. As they stepped into the main lobby, a cool breeze from the overhead fans brushed against their faces.

“Whoa,” Avni whispered, tilting her head up to look at the grand chandelier above them. “This place looks like Hogwarts.”

Tanuja laughed, nudging her. “Yeah, minus the wands. But definitely has the magic.”

Diya smiled shyly, her eyes scanning the polished marble floor, the noticeboards filled with colorful flyers, and the huge staircase curling upwards like something from a dream.

A group of students rushed past them, laughter trailing behind. Someone was strumming a guitar near the corridor. From the left wing, a soft murmur of voices echoed — classrooms filled with chatter and chalk on boards. On the right, a door swung open, and the smell of something delicious drifted out.

“Is that… food?” Diya asked, sniffing.

“Ohhh yes,” Avni grinned. “That’s the café. Come on, it’s the soul of the college.”

...---...

...Scene Shift: The College Café...

The three girls entered the café — a cozy space filled with sunlight, the clatter of plates, and soft music playing in the background. Students were lounging at wooden tables, sipping coffee, flipping through notebooks, and laughing over fries.

The walls were decorated with polaroids, quotes like “Fuel for minds and hearts”, and a chalkboard menu that read:

Masala Maggi – ₹40

Iced Coffee – ₹50

Paneer Wrap – ₹60

Chai & Samosa – ₹30

Tanuja grabbed a corner table by the window while Avni ordered samosas and three cutting chais. Diya sat down, still absorbing everything — this wasn’t just a building. It was a vibe, a whole new life.

“I still can’t believe I’m here,” Diya admitted, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “I’ve never lived away from home before.”

Tanuja gave her a reassuring smile. “You’ll love it. We’ve got your back.”

“Yeah,” Avni added, placing the steaming chai cups on the table. “And trust me — this café is the cure to all homesickness.”

They clinked their paper cups in a soft toast.

“To new beginnings,” Tanuja said.

“To unexpected friendships,” Avni chimed.

Diya hesitated, then smiled brightly. “And to this crazy place we’ll soon call home.”

[Scene fades out with the three girls sipping chai, sunlight washing over their table, and laughter beginning to build a bond that would last far beyond college walls.]

After coming out of the canteen, all three of them saw their seniors who were talking about college club forms.

A senior sister came to them and gave them the school form and said,

Take this form, you will get to know the direction of the college, classes, clubs and their locations. And if you are interested in any club, there is a group link next to it, join it. And remember, there is a fresher party day after tomorrow i.e. on Sunday, do come there, there will be a program in the auditorium. After saying this much and giving the form she leaves.

Diya:Oo bhai ye kitti awesome hai yr...

 Tanuja and Avni laughed

Avni: Yrr, let's go to the hostel I'm very tired now.

Tanuja: Yes, let's go, anyway we still have to check the form, we are not able to go to many places right now, so we will check the form, and then join the clubs too.

Diya: By the way, have both of you thought about what to wear to the fresher party?

Avni: Not yet, room pr chal kr dekhte hai.

Tanuja: Avni give me the form

 She saw the form

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Room A-101 to A-110 were for first-year lectures.

Room A-111 to A-120 were labs — Biology, Chemistry, and Physics — with sleek counters, shiny instruments, and posters of scientists adorning the walls.

At the end was the Library, with a glass door and a faint lavender smell inside — the scent of old pages and soft silence.

To the right, the Administrative Wing had:

The Principal’s Office, always with the door slightly open.

The Counselor’s Room, small and filled with plants and calming posters.

The Seminar Hall, with plush seats and a projector screen used for special events and film nights.

...----------------...

🧭 College Layout & Directions

Tanuja pointed ahead, excitedly explaining the layout she memorized from the college they went to see.

North Wing – The Science Department and Research Labs.

South Wing – The Arts & Humanities Block, quieter, filled with paint-scented studios and music rooms with soundproof walls.

East Side – The Hostel Buildings, connected by a shaded path filled with flower beds.

West Side – The Cafeteria, Club Rooms, and the Open Amphitheatre where everything from debates to dance battles happened.

...----------------...

☕ Cafeteria – The Student Soul Spot

The cafeteria as everyone called it, had both indoor and outdoor seating. Wooden benches outside under fairy lights, and cozy booths inside with soft cushions and an air conditioner humming gently.

Diya’s eyes lit up as she read the wall menu:

Cold Coffee – ₹50

Chicken Puff – ₹35

Cheese Burst Sandwich – ₹60

Chocolate Pastry – ₹30

Tanuja whispered with a grin, “Will you try their Oreo shake. It’s better than heartbreak.”

🌟 College Clubs – Where Passions Breathe

Past the café was a corridor filled with colorful posters and a huge noticeboard titled "Clubs & Societies Corner". Each club had a small room and a world of its own:

🎭 Dramatics Club – "Spotlight"

Loud, expressive, full of laughter and rehearsals echoing down the hallway.

📸 Photography Club – "Shutter Souls"

Dimly lit, decorated with fairy lights and photo frames. Students edited pics on Macs and planned weekend shoots.

🖌️ Art Club – "Canvas & Chaos"

Paint-splattered walls, open windows, and the scent of acrylics. Everyone here spoke in colors.

🖊️ Literature Society – "The Inked Minds"

Silent, book-filled, with poetry readings and coffee mugs on every desk.

💃 Dance Crew – "Rhythm Rebels"

Music thumping through wooden floors, mirrors on the walls, and non-stop energy.

💡 Innovation Cell – "The Brainstorm"

Think tanks, robotic prototypes, and big whiteboards covered in ideas.

Each club room had an open door policy. Anyone could peek in, sign up, and find a place to belong.

...----------------...

“This place is insane,” Diya said, her eyes sparkling.

“It’s a whole universe,” Avni replied, stretching her arms.

Tanuja added, smiling, “And it’s all ours now.”

The bell rang in the distance — not loud, not harsh, just enough to remind them that this wasn’t a dream. This was college. Their new life. And it was just beginning.

The bell was for a meeting

They went down and there was the lady caretaker of the hostel who called all the freshers downstairs.

...Hello students I am the caretaker of this hostel F1. You can consider me as your teacher, friend or mother. If you have any problem in anything, please discuss to me. As you all know that there is a bathroom on every floor, so there is no need for any fight, there are 6 rooms on every floor and there are 5 floors in every hostel. Now let's come to the college, all of you have your fresher party on Sunday so don't be too modern, just have a casual look. Now you can go and if you have any problem discuss to me....

Diya: Mam what about the timing of college and hostel

Caretaker: Good question,

 College timing 10 AM

Hostel gate will close 11:30 PM in summer and 10 PM in winters

Event time 4 PM on Sunday

Diya: Ok mam

Let's go.

All of them get in the room and closed the main door and talking about each others

Oh! so you both are from same school?

Avni and Tanuja: Yes

Diya: I'm very excited for classes, new friends and new teacher

Avni teased Diya: New seniors and crush also

All them laughed

...Knock...

...Tanuja opened the door...

...A student from 2nd year was there...

*Hey this is Aditi from 2nd year, I'm here to share you your class group.

Diya: That fast

* Yes, your new class will start from Monday and whatever classes you have, you will get them on the group as per Time Table. And you will get all the links in your class group.

You will find works and teachers of all subjects here and community links as well. Make sure you stay in both the groups because in the class group only study material messages will come and events on the community.

And if you guys want to join any club then let me know. So, I can give the list to your head teacher.

Tanuja: How many clubs can I join?

*You can join maximum two clubs, but in my opinion join only one club, which club you are joining ?

Tanuja: The dance club maybe, I'm not sure

* Do it clear as fast, Because every year we keep 5 leaders in our club, if you try as fast as you can then chances of becoming a leader are higher, one boy and one girl are made so total 10 main .

Each year student have two main leaders in every club, As usual if a girl a boy become a leader they can do a pair of each other in dance. If they both agree only.

And till now if no one has joined the dance club since new year batch then you can do it from the girls side,

Tanuja: I'm joining the dance club.

* Sure, Welcome to our club.

If you want, you can come tomorrow and write your name for the audition, come with your friends, bye good night.

...They closed the door...

Diya: so you are joining the dance club, nice.

Avni: What about you Diya? Are you interested in any club?

Diya: I'm about to join sports club.

Tanuja: There are many clubs under sports club.

Diya: Badminton club

Tanuja: Avni what about you?

Avni: I'm not sure, I will go for Search club.

Tanuja: Great, then let's go tomorrow in all clubs for giving name for audition.

Avni and diya: yes

......................

...Time: 6 AM...

...Alarm rings...

Tanuja and Avni get up and make Diya wake up too. But Diya said that she still had to sleep, so they should go and freshen up. After some time Diya also gets up and goes to get ready.

...🥣 Scene: Hostel Breakfast Mess...

The three girls walked into the hostel mess, dressed in comfy pajamas and slippers, still a little sleepy but already laughing about last night’s dumb jokes.

The air smelled like toasted butter, hot parathas, and chai. Steam fogged up the glass windows, and the mess was already buzzing with sleepy students in line.

They grabbed their plates — two aloo parathas, a dollop of curd, and a paper cup of cutting chai each.

“This is the best part of college,” Tanuja declared, biting into her paratha.

“What, the food?” Diya teased.

“No, eating together. Feels like a weird little family,” she said, eyes soft.

Avni smiled, “Well, weird is right.”

They clinked their chai cups in a silent toast — to this warm, simple moment.

...----------------...

🚿 Back in the Room – Audition Prep Begins

By 9:15 AM, they were back in Room 106, now fully awake and buzzing with anticipation.

Tanuja was already blasting music from her speaker — a groovy mix of Bollywood beats and hip-hop. She twirled in front of the mirror, trying out her steps.

“Today, the dance club will know my name!” she announced, doing a spin and nearly bumping into Diya.

“Careful, Naach Baliye,” Diya muttered, holding a pair of clean sports shoes in her hands.

She was dressed in black joggers and a blue tee, tying her hair into a high ponytail. Her nervous energy was hidden under calm eyes.

Avni, meanwhile, sat at her desk, brushing through printed articles and handwritten notes. She adjusted her glasses and muttered softly to herself, “Search Team Round 1 — campus knowledge quiz, strategy games… I need my brain fully switched on.”

Tanuja leaned on her shoulder. “You got this, boss lady.”

Avni smirked. “Thanks, drama mama.”

Diya zipped up her duffel bag. “Guys, what if I don’t make it? The sports club probably wants experienced players…”

Avni stood up and gently fixed Diya’s collar. “You run like lightning, and your stamina’s insane. You’ll kill it.”

Tanuja nodded, then stepped closer and gave her a side hug. “Confidence, babe. That’s your best weapon.”

The three of them stood in front of the mirror, dressed in their different energies:

Tanuja – bold, vibrant, in a cropped hoodie and track pants, eyeliner sharp, hair in a bouncy ponytail.

Avni – composed, focused, wearing a tucked-in shirt, ID card already around her neck.

Diya – athletic, simple, but glowing with quiet strength and determination.

“Ready?” Avni asked.

“Ready.”

“Ready.”

They high-fived in the middle of the room — a soft smack that echoed like a promise.

...----------------...

[Scene fades as they lock the door behind them, walking down the hostel corridor — three girls, three dreams, one unforgettable day ahead.]

...Scene 1:...

...Tanuja – Dance Club Audition (Rhythm Rebels)...

The audition hall was packed. Loud music, clapping, nervous laughter — it was chaotic, like the heartbeat of college come alive.

Tanuja stood near the mirror, doing tiny warm-up moves, stretching her arms. She wore black joggers, a maroon crop hoodie, and her signature gold hoops that always made her feel bold.

A girl from the panel shouted, “Next! Tanuja.”

She stepped forward. Her heart thumped. But the moment the music started — an electric remix of "Param Sundari" and "Temperature" — she transformed.

Her moves were bold, fluid, unapologetic. Every step screamed confidence. She did her flips, her signature spins, even added a wink at the end.

By the time the beat dropped and her final pose landed, the hall was clapping loudly.

One of the judges grinned. “That’s what I call stage presence.”

Tanuja smiled, panting softly. She didn’t just audition — she owned it.

One of judge said: I think you will be the first year leader from the girls side but wait for result, You will get to know your position in evening

Tanuja: Thank you senior

...----------------...

...🧠 Scene 2:...

...Avni – Search Team Challenge (Campus Core Team)...

Inside the seminar room, the vibe was sharp and serious. Students sat at tables with name tags. Laptops open, papers out. This was no joke.

Avni sat with two random teammates for the first round — a strategy quiz and a mock campus treasure map planning task.

The timer started ticking. Her hands didn’t shake. She analyzed the riddles, mapped out the ideal search routes, cracked cryptic college club codes like they were puzzles from her own diary.

One of the evaluators stood beside her team, observing.

“Who figured out the logic behind the cross-path clue?” the judge asked.

“Me,” Avni said without hesitation.

“Impressive,” he nodded.

When time was up, Avni leaned back, satisfied. Not because she was perfect — but because she’d given it everything. Quiet brilliance. Just her style.

...----------------...

...⚽ Scene 3:...

...Diya – Sports Club Tryout (Basketball Club)...

The sports ground was buzzing with whistles, running footsteps, and cheers from the sidelines.

Diya stood in line, tugging her wristbands nervously. She wasn’t flashy. She didn’t know anyone here. But she knew her strength.

The trial was a 400m run, a fitness circuit, and a surprise game of quick reflex dodgeball.

“Ready?” the coach yelled.

Diya took off. Her steps were light but powerful. She wasn’t the fastest, but she never slowed. When others started panting, she pushed harder.

By the time she reached the dodgeball trial, her eyes were focused, movements sharp. She dodged, ducked, caught a flying ball mid-air, and even scored a hit.

After the trial, the coach came over and gave a firm nod.

“Good stamina. Good control. You’re in consideration.”

Diya smiled — breathless, flushed, but glowing. For the first time, she felt like she belonged.

...Scene Close: That Evening – Back in the Room...

Room 106 smelled like hair oil, body spray, and instant noodles.

Tanuja crashed on the bed, laughing. “I killed it. Did a twirl so hot, I nearly burned the floor.”

Avni smiled, sipping water. “I solved six puzzles. Beat three boys. And the judge raised his eyebrow at me like I was Hermione.”

Diya tied her hair back into a bun, her cheeks still pink. “I caught a dodgeball with one hand. Coach nodded. I might… actually get in.”

Tanuja leaned over and held her hand. “You will get in. You both will.”

They lay there, staring at the ceiling, soft music playing in the background. One big step taken. Three different dreams blooming in the same little room.

Then suddenly Tanuja screamed by joy

Guys guess what?

Avni: What happened?

Tanuja: I'm the group leader by girls side of 1st year student

Diya: Ye toh khushi ka mauka hai garba khelne ka mauka hai.

...They laughed...

Avni: But now go to sleep because we have to prepare for tomorrow as well, go to sleep early so that we can wake up late.
