Author’s POV

He saw that she passed out. He stopped and covers her with a blanket and kissed her forehead and left to kitchen for cooking something for her.

After few hours she wake up and searching for Daddy. She saw herself ***** so she covers herself with a blanket and searched for him. She saw him in study, he notices she is falling because her feet entangle with bed sheet. He carries her, brings her to his bedroom, and gives her one of his shirt. She saw that shirt is oversize for her but she looks cute though in his shirt. He bring food for her, she jumped in his lap and said, “Daddy feed me”. He fed her and put a pacifier in her mouth and she sleep above him.

Next day he wakes up earlier than usual, when Lucy woke up she saw Ethan tensed so she asked about the reason. He said, “There is a meeting so I have to go for two days, I am thinking how to leave you alone in this home.” Lucy’s face color changes after hearing alone but she did not show and said, “You can go if this is very important, I can handle on my own.” He kissed on her forehead and started to prepare for leaving. He drops Lucy at her school and left. Rosy saw her upset and ask but she did not say anything. After school Rosy asks, “Did he coming to pick you up?” Lucy said, “No, he is out of town for a meeting so he is not coming for 2 days.” Now she understands the reason behind her sadness.

Lucy came back from school and prepared instant noodles for her. She kept lights on in every corner of her home. She done all her homework and Ethan called her so she picked call and talk to him. He felt her sadness from her voice so he talks to her for long time. After he hang up call she went to hall and keep watching TV because she do not want to sleep nor wants to stay in dark.

Next day Rosy saw her sleeping in class but she did not wake her up. She notices her mobile keep buzzing so she picked up the call. It was Ethan’s call. He asked, “Where is Lucy”. He was video called so Rosy show him that Lucy is sleeping because she is awake all night. He asked the reason so Lucy said, “She is afraid of alone, but I cannot say the reason so if she is comfortable with you so you can ask her.” He hangs up. Lucy wake up and asks, “Who is in call.” She said, “It is Ethan, I told him you are sleeping so he do not want to disturb you while sleeping.” She sighs in a relief that he called. They eat in canteen then after her classes she comeback to her home. She did the same what she has done yesterday.
