Simi approached Azusa. "Hey Azusa, let's go. The way is clear right now. We can escape a little easier."
Another voice interrupted. "Easily?" Sienna said.
Simi gave a small smile. "I said a little…"
Sienna sighed, her tone not too friendly. "You," she pointed at Azusa, "can you run fast?"
Without a second thought, Azusa nodded. "Yes! I can!"
Sienna's expression softened, signaling her willingness to help Azusa. She moved to the door, using her hair clip to pick the lock. After a moment, the lock clicked open. She looked at the other two. "It's open."
Simi smiled. "Let's go!" Azusa felt nervous but took a deep breath, showing she was ready.
Sienna slowly stepped out of the room, making no noise. She looked around, ensuring no guards were nearby. She signaled the other two to follow. Under the cover of darkness and with little light, they were extremely careful. They were still within the boundaries and needed to reach the forest to escape.
Azusa asked, "What is this place?" She looked back to ensure no one was following them, still walking with the two unknown girls she had met in this dire situation.
Simi was about to answer when a shout rang out, "They're running away! Catch them!" Sienna looked back, her face showing bravery instead of fear. "You two keep running at full speed. I will distract them!"
Azusa was concerned. "What if she gets into trouble?" But before she could say anything, Simi grabbed her hand tightly. "Let's go."
They got separated there, but Azusa was still worried about Sienna. "I don't think it's a good idea leaving her behind!" Simi kept running, her breath heavy. "Don't worry! Sienna will be fine!" Azusa had no choice but to follow Simi, constantly looking back to see if Sienna was coming.
They finally stopped, both out of breath after running for so long. Azusa noticed some houses with lights; they looked beautiful. But she didn't have time to admire them. She turned back towards the forest. "Is she coming?" Simi chuckled. "You worry about her a lot. She'll be here, just wait a few minutes." Azusa, unwilling to accept Simi's reassurance, shook her head. "I'm going to help her. What if she's in trouble?" She looked around and found some wood that looked sturdy. As she started to walk back, Simi grabbed her arm. "Wait! Wait!" But Azusa didn't listen and was determined to go back.
Suddenly, noises came from the bushes. Both of them turned their attention to the sound. An unfriendly voice called out, "What are you two doing?"
Seeing Sienna safe, Azusa sighed in relief. "You're here... I'm glad." Sienna's expression was confused, unable to grasp what was happening.
To clear the confusion, Simi spoke up. "She was ready to go help you, you know," she chuckled.
Sienna sighed. "Let's go. I barely fooled them. They must be on their way after us. We have to get to the town so they won't catch us again!"
They all ran as fast as they could. Azusa couldn't think or process what was happening but kept following the two girls.
They stopped at a place where there were lights, and people walked beside them. Azusa sensed that she had never seen this place before, not even on the internet. The question kept bugging her: where was she?
Simi sensed her worries and answered, "This is Floradia Isle." Azusa's expression was mixed with emotions. She admired the beauty of the town but had never heard of this place. "Floradia Isle?"
Sienna interrupted their conversation. "Let's go, Simi."
Simi smiled. "Yes. You're new here, and there's no way for you to leave right now. Let's go to my place. Those men won't come there," she said to Azusa. And they headed to their place.
