Acting Like We're Okay...

The Next Day..

She went downstairs and the first thing that is greeting is reporters..It was normal for her family to have reporters ask about the family..and just like that..her mom and dad acts like they care about their kids..

"Good Morning, sweety come breakfast is ready..." her mother said sweetingly.

She is required to play along..

"Ohh..really mom.. What's for breakfast??" Nala said

"I have prepared waffles with a side of berries.."

"Thanks mom.."

She went to the kitchen and her brother was there..also acting fakely sweet.

"Mornin sis..woke up late again! Good thing today is Saturday...and you know what that means??"

"We get to do family games!!" Yay..How exciting.."

Their family is in a reality show "Family Business" wherein the Perez family show what kind of lifestyle they have. They claim that the family loves one another and the show shows the family having fun, having small scripted arguements and just capturing the hearts of the audience.

The day went on with the family spending time together, playing board games, having snacks and making it seem to the audience that they're family is a role model family.

After the filming and the cameras are gone his mother was at her phone looking at social media, tagging her family in a lot of pictures, her dad was busy in his phone and his brother was with his friend's house, playing video games or whatever and she was at her room, laid down in her bed, staring at the ceiling when her phone buzzed. She got a notification from Jake, a number she never muted. She usually receives a lot of messages from her fans, peers and different modeling agency, she always mute the conversations, except her friends..

"Hey, I saw your reality show..I didn't know I befriended a really star!" Jake said

"Ohh.. don't expect too much..In the reality show I'm the black sheep in the family..."

"I watched your family and you barely got exposure..and if you did get exposure you force your smiles and act like everything's fine....are you really okay...do we need to go to the mall again or probably this time the carnival??"

"Thanks for asking..but I'm fine.."

She turned off her phone and slept her problems away..

The Next Day

Her day went on normal...there were some people that would recognize her and say they are a fan, they would take selfies, ask for autographs and paparazzi would ask questions to her and Miguel...Yeah..that is normal to Nala.

5:00p.m It is the dismissal period of the students. Students race their way to the security unit and out the school gates. Today Nala is walking home alone as Molly is cleaning her classroom.

"Nala, wait up..." Jake shouted

Nala looked back at Jake and was mesmorized by the mid afternoon sun hitting his face.

Nala blushed

"Jake, what's up?"

"I need to tell you something in private.."

Nala blushed and butterflies in her stomach were filling up

Jake pulled her hand and Nala followed his direction..

"Why didn't I removed my hand from him... this is really weird.." she said in her mind..

They were in an open field with the sun setting down and the two of them were there..

Nala felt a weird spark in her heart..

"What's this weird feeling.."

"Is this love?? A chemical reaction??"
