Nina was sleeping when her grandfather woke her up by splashing water on her face

Nina : grandpa (she shouted), what was that for?

Linton: Did you forget that you are going to school today

Nina : I guess I did but why did you splash water on my face

Linton: I tried waking you up by calling your name, but you were still sleeping, so I decided to splash water on your face

Nina: not cool at all grandpa

Linton : go and freshen up and dress and your so-called friend ,pearl is wating for you outside

Nina : you didn't let her in

Linton: why should I let a stranger into my house

Nina : but she's my best friend grandpa anyway never mind

Linton sighed and walked away

Nina : grandpa is indeed weird mum and dad (she said while talking to her mother and father picture), well I guess it's time for school she said as she turned on the music not too high, not too low, then she entered her bathroom then she bathed, brush then she wore her school uniform that made her look so beautiful then she brushed her hair before packing it in ponytail style before carrying her crossing bag and her stationary, when she was finally done she kissed her parents picture goodbye, before she went downstairs and ate her breakfast in a hurry, but she noticed that her grandpa hasn't been taking his medicine, so she shouted" grandpa, why haven't you been taking your drugs"

Linton: what drugs

Nina was about to open the door to go out but stopped then she followed her grandfather voice and found him in the garden watering a particular rose flower

Nina: grandpa for my sake please take your drugs, I don't want to loose you

Linton: you won't loose me Nina and those drugs are really hard to swallow

Nina : I know, Im off to school now grandpa , please take your drugs ok

Linton : ok , always remember , don't ever give up ok

Nina: ok grandpa, thanks for the food (she said then walked away)

Nina went outside to find pearl pacing back and forth

Nina : sorry, I kept you waiting for so long bestie

Pearl : it's ok, I understand, so let's go

Nina :ok

The two friends walked for a very long period of time before they arrived at school

pearl : race you to our class

Nina : sure thing, loser gets to buy the winner a cat

pearl : kk , on your Mark , set, go

Nina and pearl ran like crazy and to pearls surprise Nina won, she was angry but didn't show it

Nina : I won, (she shouted)

pearl smiled and said yeah

Nina : are you angry

pearl : nope(she lied)

Nina : oh ok(she said then sat down next to pearl)

Immediately they sat down the teacher walked in with a new handsome student named (Kai)

teacher : everyone please settle down and welcome your new classmate

Everyone : welcome

teacher : please introduce yourself

Kai : Good morning everyone, my name is Kai blackwood

pearl : mm

Nina : sounds fancy ( she whispered to pearl)

pearl : I guess

The two talked while Kai introduced himself to his classmate but pearl and Nina didn't hear his age because they were discussing, Kai sat next to pearl after introducing his self to his new classmate.

Time flew by so slow but after a few minutes later, school was over and as usual pearl and Nina walked home

pearl : did you understand anything today

Nina : umm I guess , why did u say so

pearl : because you were lost in taughts

Nina : oh

Pearl : yeah

the two walked home in total silence, but pearl broke the silence when she was at Nina's house

Pearl : bye for now, Nina

Nina : oh ok bye, see you tomorrow

pearl : ok

Nina waved at pearl before entering her house, as she entered, she found her grandpa trying to play her late grandma violin

Immediately he saw her, he kept it at a specific corner where his late wife(Kara) usually used to keep her violin , then Nina said" you miss grandma right"

Linton : yes, a lot, I also miss your mum and dad

Nina : I miss them too

Linton : so how was school

Nina : fun(she said as she went upstairs)

Linton shouted "I took my drugs this morning"

Nina : ok grandpa

Linton : are you hungry

Nina : nope

Linton : ok

Nina entered her room then locked the door

Nina : I'm back mum and dad, I do miss you two so much , anyways life goes on( she said as she laid on her bed then she said)"school was actually fun today and also pearl is really getting weird lately dad and mum, I think she's upset with me or something, or does she have another bestfriend, ahh God please help me ( she took off her school uniform and went into her bathroom and took a nice long relaxing shower after that, she brushed her teeth and slipped into her night gown even though it's still 6:00pm she laid on her bed daydreaming about her life before she suddenly falls asleep
