Chapter 3

Three days later

Taehyung stormed into his room frustrated and tensed, with Jimin following him behind.

" What do you mean by 'I didn't find her'???" Jimin too was frustrated exactly like the other male in that room.

"I mean, exactly what I'm saying right now. I have looked for her all over the places where she can be, But there is no trace of her, I don't know what to do right now. I just can't think about it. I mean what if something......." Taehyung couldn't finish his sentence when a knock on his door interrupted their conversation, followed by a maid announcing the arrival of Erica.

"Taehyung, where exactly have you been??? What can be this much important to you that you left the palace without informing any of us, whatever we are doing, it's for you only, so that you can be the next alpha of this pack and you just didn't care about it, left the palace that too when you know really well that we need you and only you at this stage of this process." The witch clearly sounded disappointed and mad.

"Erica actually he was......" Jimin tried to advocate his friend. He knew that there had been a tension between Erica and Taehyung since last few years. They still respect and love each other but there was an unsolved issue between them.

Taehyung would not ask for her help no matter how big the problem was, though she would do anything to help Taehyung, she was very very fond of the alpha male even after everything.

"No Jiminshi you won't explain him now, I don't want to be overreacting at all. He lives his life just how he likes, I stopped interfering in his life, but this doesn't mean I would tolerate carelessness. Doesn't he know, that the last stage of this selection process we need his wolf's acceptance" Erica kept scolding.

Taehyung had his head lowered because he knew she was right, but he also knew that whatever reason why he had been out of the palace for was the actual important thing. This process of finding his mate was useless and unnecessary. Because he had already found his fated mate.

"Erica, I need your help right now. I don't know what to do, but I'm... I'm... I'm in trouble, a big trouble, please help me."

The witch was shocked because she didn't expect this answer. And the expression of the boy's face was just miserable. She was curious about what could be the trouble that the alpha was talking about???

She expected an apology, she expected the man would say that it was another of his hunting game, but it was not, it seemed not to be... it was some trouble.....

She immediately came closer to the boy who was looking already miserable, placed her hand upon the shoulder of the alpha , asking, "What's wrong Tae?? what is it??What's troubling you?? What are you talking about??"

The alpha on the other hand had tears in his eyes, it was very rare of a sight to witness an alpha in tears. However, the people present at this room at this very moment belonged to the circle of people who had already witnessed this sight earlier for a couple of times.

Erica was unable to make the alpha talk when the other was actually crying, so she looked at Jimin for the answer of her question.

"Erica, I don't know where to start from, I also don't know what should I say first?? Whether I should say the alpha had found his fated mate or I should say, the alpha has lost his fated mate" Jimin finally stated making the witch so shocked that she couldn't talk or react for a couple of second. She look back again at Taehyung with mouth still agap.

The alpha finally cleared his throat before starting, "It's been three full-moon, three full-moon ago, in the middle of my journey to the southern area, one night, I was just spending time with myself because I was feeling lonely, I just needed someone to talk to, I was desperately wishing that I had a mate, who would accompany me in all my journeys, to whom I can share my feelings, my problems, everything, with that longing inside my heart, I don't know why exactly but I suddenly started making  something with the wet soil, yes, wet soil, because it was raining earlier through out the whole day and the soil was still wet, and the rain was the exact reason why I had to stop my journey for two-three nights there at that forest, when I was making it , I didn't have any idea about what I was making, I kept on walking on it until I felt tired craving for sleep. Then just walked inside my tent and fell asleep, waking up in the next morning I found out that I just made a Wolf out of that soil, I was amazed, I knew that V was craving for our mate. It was still raining on the next day too so I didnt have anything to do, I brought the clay statue of the wolf inside my tent and started working on enhancing its features.

By the sunset I had a statue of a white wolf with ocean blue eyes, bushy tail, sharp features, shiny furs. I felt proud of myself, luckily I always keep my art equipments with me during my journeys.

I spent the whole evening talking to that lifeless statue, finally happy that I was talking to someone, I shared many feelings of my heart, starting from laughing at my childhood memories to shedding tears sharing the problems of my life, the frustration of not having a fated mate yet etc etc.

That night I slept with a lighter heart, that statue was still there when I said good night to it, then fell asleep. But when I woke up, I discovered the most astonishing and the strangest thing in my life, Coco as I named the wolf, was not inside my tent anymore. I was worried, I came out to look for it, but I found it nowhere, I kept searching the whole forest until I found Coco by the river drinking water, all alive, I was awestruck. At first I thought I had mistaken some other wolf with the one I was looking for but when I saw those 6 silver sparkling hairstrands in its tail, I was sure it was her. It was the Wolf I was looking for but I was looking for a statue. A clay statue. But the one infront of me was a living, breathing wolf" Taehyung stopped.

"Later I came know that the night I made it, was the night of...

"The night of wish moon festival" Erica completed what the alpha was trying to say.

Taehyung nodded is response.
