2. TAKE THEM TO A NEW HOUSE

"Now, You got it, my wife that you have a handsome and mesmerizing handsome." He chuckled and kissed her forehead.

"Yes, Yes very well." she said with struggles as she was very exhausted.

"Now, you take rest. I will do the chores by myself. You must be exhausted." he said looking at her fragile body which was not in a look to do any kind of work.

"Hmm" Only this could be heard from her.

After that he shut the door and did the pending task.

They were on 20 days holiday.

It took him around 4 hours in cleaning and mopping and then arranging the things in apple pie order. This was his first time to do house chores as he was only busy in giving lecture to his students.

He now only thought of his mother doing the same things as he did today. He felt empathetic towards her.

He then called her mother.

"Hi mom!!! Is everything fine there?" he asked.

"Yes son, all is fine here. You tell me, Where is my daughter-in-law? She must have been annoyed with you." she asked.

"No mom, I am your good son. Why are you always pulling my legs? She is in the room, mom." he replied.

"Good son-nnn!!!" she demanded.

"Yes mom." he replied.

"By the way mom, I am going to pick you and dad tomorrow. Keep your belongings with you." he said.

"Okay my son, Goodnight!!" she said.

After that they hanged up the call and he went to sleep.

The next day, she woke up early at 6 am and looked at his husband face who slept soundly like after selling a horse. She then got freshen up and went downstairs. To her surprise, everything was cleaned up. Everything was in order. She thought that her husband might not able to do all this alone.

"My husband is really cool."

"Olivia, your choice is wonderful. I'm so proud of you." she whispered and gave applaud to herself.

After that she went directly to the kitchen to prepare something for them. After preparing it, she placed the food in the dining table.

She then called him.

"Eddy, come down. Breakfast is ready." she said loudly in order to hear him her voice.

"Coming!!!. Just 10 minutes." he replied.

After 10 minutes, she saw him coming downstairs. He saw her and gave her a bright smile.

"Good morning, my wife!!" he said.

"Morning, Eddy" she said sweetly.

They both sat on the dining table and started eating.

"Eddy, I want to buy some things for the house. So, I want you to accompany me." she said remembering the things which were not in the house but really important.

"Okay, I will go, but first I need to go home to pick my parents up." he replied while sipping juice.

"Finally, they are coming." she said enthusiastically.

"Yes, and we will have lunch together." he finished his meal and got up to take the keys of the car.

"Wait!!! I want to buy some groceries. So, drop me at the market." she said in one go as soon as she saw him going out.

"Okay, you have only 5 minutes, and I am waiting outside. You know that I am very strict when it comes to punctuality." he said in a demanding way like who is the owner, but he forgot temporary that the person standing in front of him was his wife.

"Ohh really sweetheart!!! Let me look at your face so that I can see your punctuality." she was making fun od him and started going towards him.

Not to put a fight, he put his hand in the air and raised the white flag.

"Okay mam, I lost." he said, making losing face to which her wife laughed.

"I am waiting outside" he said by giving a gentle smile.

"Hmm" she replied.

They both sat in the car and drove away. He first dropped her in market and bid goodbye to her and went to his home, his old home.

He reached there and parked the car.

He rang the doorbell and the door was opened by his father.

He greeted his father and saw inside and noticed his mother doing all the things hastily, looking from the outside of the door.

"Dad, mom won't change. She never looks after her. Doctor advised her not to do heavy works but look, dad. What should we do??" he concerned about her mom. He really scared on that day.

"Son, I told her multiple times not to do any work, I will do it by myself, but she is not ready to listen. Now, you can also try." his father said after giving up from his mother.

"Look Mrs Anderson, who is at the door?" his father said loudly and sweetly.

"Son, you came. Come inside. I am so into it that I have not noticed." she said while holding the bags.

"Mom, I told you that you should not do the work. Then, why don't you listen? You know that you are very precious to us and your health too." his son said in a little angry voice and quickly came to her and took the things which she carried in her hand.

Changing the topic, she said.

"Look, Mr Anderson.. This is my son to whom I am missing. Now, Our son has grown up and I am so proud of him." she said and little panted.

"Mom, you are changing the topic. Why?? Let me check, you must have not taken the medicine today because of this." he started looking here and there and found the medicines on the table. He became mad at her mom but could not say anything.

"Mommmmm!!!! Come with me!!!

He held her hand and made her way to the chair and gave her take the medicine and then went up to his knees.

" Mom!! Dad and I are not stupid. And most importantly, all doctors are right if he says something to patients or to us. If you don't take care of yourself or not listen to dad then how you are going to be well." he explained her mother calmly because his mother was so stubborn.

"Okay - Okay my son, I will listen and yes, I am going to live a long life." she added to her statement.

Meanwhile, his father had taken all the things from the room and ready with all that.

Then looking mother and son duo, his father smiled because he knew only Edward could make her understand well.

"If you both are done, Shall we go now?" her father asked.

"Yes, Dad" he replied.

They looked at the house one now time and felt nostalgia.

After saying, they put all the things in the car and went to new home.
