A Deal

Elfina - No need to worry I'll investigate the whole case again and try to find some evidences. But first I'll need some basic information before starting my investigation. Let's start with the murderer's name and then the how the whole murder was carried out. Tell me about it.

Karl - Darryl Williams.

Elfina - Darryl Williams? I've never heard about him neither from anyone nor from the principal himself.

Karl - It's because the principal hides the fact that he has a son.

Elfina - But why?

Karl - Cause once Darrly was accused of getting involved into an illegal drug buisness. But he never did such a thing and was innocent yet everyone blamed him only I was by his side I supported him. I stood beside him and protected him from all false allegations. His own father , the principal , did not believe him...

Elfina - That's sad...

Karl - At the end he was sent to jail for 2 days only and someone bailed him out. Everyone looked down on him from that day and he started suffocating in his own life. I supported him strongly and was the only one in his life whom he could trust.

Elfina - Why did he kill you then ?

Karl - I don't know.

Elfina - I'll have to find out that who is this Darryl guy. Do you remeber his face we can make a sketch out of it ! I'm good at drawing.

Karl - Ok cool let's make a sketch.

( Karl starts describing Darryl's face and Elfina starts sketching.)

Elfina - Ta da ! The sketch is ready ! Is this Darryl ?

Karl - Show me. ( looks at it ) What in the world did you draw !

Elfina - what ?

Karl - Is this even a face or a potato !

Elfina - Shut up stop insulting my sketching skills.

Karl - You said you could DRAW !

Elfina - Yes I did DRAW !

Karl - What even is this ?! ahhhh you just wasted my time !

Elfina - Wasted your time ?! My time got wasted ! not yours !

Karl - Oh so you do work ?

Elfina - YES !!!

Karl - Haha I thought you just sleep and eat the whole day or something.

Elfina - Shut up ! you're annoying !

Karl - Not more than you !!

Elfina - ughhh this stupid ghost !

Karl- Hey ! who are you calling stupid huh ?!

Elfina - If you continue this kind of attitude towards me I'll stop helping you !

Karl - What ?!

Elfina - Yes !

Karl - Let's make a deal ! I'll protect you throughout your whole investigation and from whatever problems that might chance upon you in future and in return you will help me take revenge but even if the situation worsens or becomes dangerous you won't back off and will keep helping me.

Elfina - Hmm not bad. Fine it's a deal then.

( Offers her hand for a handshake but her hand goes straight through his body like she touching air.)

Elfina - Woah seems like I can't touch you.

Karl - Yes. That's why I'm safe from you hehe !

Elfina - What did you say?!

Karl - haha nothing. One more thing ! I will only be able to protect you and be with you in the school premises.

Elfina - umm...Fine !

Karl - Good.

Elfina - I have to go now bye.

Karl - bye.

[ At home ]

( Elfina takes a good bath and gets ready to go to the park to meet Dardanious. )

( on call )

Dardanious - where are you ?

Elfina - I'm on my way !

( Elfina arrives )

Elfina - ( panting ) I'm sorry you had to wait !

Dardanious - No worries. Actually it was worth waiting for you cause you're looking gorgeous as always. ( smiles with slight blush).

Elfina - haha thanks you look great too. ( smiles brightly)

Dardanious - ( smiles handsomely with slight blush which can make any girl go crazy )

Elfina - Let's grab some icecream I'm hungry !!

Dardanious - yep as you wish.

( At the ice cream truck )

Elfina - How much for 1 chocolate chip and 1 vanilla icecream.

Dardanious - You don't have to pay ! I'll pay.

Elfina - No let me pay. You already buy me alot of gifts.

Dardanious - Anything for my favrouite companion.

Elfina - Come on ( laughs softly )

( Both start laughing softly and start pushing eachother playfully with money in their hands.)

Elfina - ( money in her hands fllies away due to wind.) Oh no ! my money !! ( runs behind it )

( The money falls infront of a cat and the cat grabs it and sits on a high rock which was out of Elfina's reach.)

Elfina - Ahh that naughty cat has my money. give it back kitty ! ( starts jumping )

Dardanious - ( watching her jump and admiring her cuteness. He wants to help but is totally enjoying it. ) Haha wait I'll get that fir you.

( Dardanious goes to the rock and grabs the cat. He is taller than Elfina and she looks at him from below. she is atuck between the rock and his body. All she can do is look above at Dardanious. She feels comfortable and warm in Dardanious' shadow and gaze. )

Dardanious - Here ! I'm sorry about her she can get really troublesome sometimes.

Elfina - You know this cat.

Dardanious - Yes I come here daily and feed her. Her name is snow.

Elfina - snow...That's a pretty name.

Dardanious - Yes she was very skinny at first but look at her now ! all chubby and cute.( He sits down and pets the cat smiling softly.)

Elfina - ( This scene melts Elfina.) You're very thoughtful.

Dardanious - Not more than you. You are buying me icecream today. ( smiles handsomely)

Elfina - ( blushes) haha thanks.

Dardanious - ( gets up and stands close to Elfina) Let's make a deal or to put in better words let's make a promise.

Elfina - A promise ?

Dardanious - Yes. I want you to be with me forever till the end of time even after that I want you to be close to me. I want share my every moment in life with you. I just want you to be by my side forever and in return I'll protect you from every problem and hardship. I can't see you suffer. I want to see you happy your entire life.

Elfina - ( Dardanious' calm and soothing voice and words moves Elfina from inside and she could feel a slight spark inside her.)

That's...very amazing but why do you want to protect me ?

Dardanious - Just because I want to. Nothing much. ( smiles with a blush)
