CHAPTER - 5

When we entered the living room, I saw a man who might be Mr. Thompson with three fierce but handsome boys, who were to be a bit older than us.

The man who I thought was Mr. Thompson stood up and move his hand towards and say, "I'm Richard Thompson, you might be Alina Grey right?". I answered him while I grab his hands and say "Yes, pleasure to meet you Mr. Thompson. This is Aurora Jonz on my right and Adeline Hart on my left" while I shook my hands with him. He smiles and shook hand with Aurora and Adeline too.

After we settled, Mr. Thompson said, "The boy here on my left sitting is Alexander Lynn", he said and continued, "The boy standing beside me is Lewis Kean" and he continued again, "And last but not the least, the boy sitting on my right is Brooklyn Reid". Adeline asked, "They are not your son's??" with a big smile and confusion on her face. "Hahaha, they are going to be helping us in our investigation, they are hired by me." Mr. Thompson said while he was laughing.

"The six of you will be living together in a new house, you'll all be sent in a school where you can get more clues about the murderer." said Mr. Thompson. "We are going to be spy??" Aurora asked while she was laughing. "We didn't have any special skills to be spy" Adeline continued.

"Don't worry, you all will be trained by these three boys, but it won't be too tough" said Mr. Thompson. "So, you'll all move to the new house tomorrow, and start school from Monday." Mr. Thompson continued.

He stood up while the three boys followed him too. "Please follow us", said Mr. Thompson while he was leading to a secret basement.

The basement was big, there were pictures of lots of people's, who were killed by that man. Nobody have seen his face, because he wore a mask. I also saw the pictures of my parents, Aurora and Adeline's parents too. My heart hurts a bit to see their picture. I want to cry, but luckily manage to control myself.

"Okay, you will all choose a partner. Here in this two box, there are three folded paper's each, one on the left is for boys and on right one is for the girls, the one who gets a similar number with you, will be your partner. So you can choose one" he said.

I reached out my hands first and then open the paper, It's '1' that I got. Everyone opened but didn't say anything. "So who are your partner's!??" asked Mr. Thompson with a smile.

"I got '3'!!" said Adeline and Lewis together. Mr. Thompson laughed and said to the both of them, "You both will be good teammates!!" and continued, "What about '2'??" he asked again.

"I got '2'." said Aurora and Alexander while they laughed at each other. "Great relationship from the beginning!! Good!!!"

"So that means, Alina and Brooklyn will be partner's!" Mr. Thompson said with a smile. Brooklyn come towards me and hugged me tightly and said, "Hello partner!!!". "Hi, I can't breathe at all" I said while he looses his hug.
