CHAPTER 4: “Whispers in the Ruins”

Scene: Mountainside — Early morning, fog-covered trails.

[Narration]

To find answers, Eron travels to the eastern ruins—where ancient time and forgotten gods sleep beneath the dust.

[Panel: Eron climbs a rocky slope, the wind pushing his cloak back. The sister follows him from a distance, arms crossed.]

Sister:

“You really don’t plan to explain anything, huh?”

Eron (smirking):

“If I told you the truth, would you even believe it?”

Sister:

“Try me.”

Eron (staring into the mist):

“…I once ruled a realm beyond stars. Then I died.”

[Panel: Silence. The sister freezes.]

Sister (softly):

“…You’re insane.”

[Scene: They reach a broken stone archway — old carvings glow faintly under Eron’s presence.]

Eron:

“This is a weapon vault. My first blade… might still sleep here.”

[FLASHBACK SCENE: In his past life, Eron stands on a battlefield, wielding a sword that burns like starlight.]

Voice of the Past:

“Your blade can cut through divinity. But even a god-killer can fall.”

[Back to present – the orb shatters open. A long black blade wrapped in runes levitates before Eron.]

Sister (in awe):

“…What is that?”

Eron (softly):

“Soulcleaver. One of ten.”

Sister (looking around):

“What did you do?!”

Eron (focused):

“I wasn’t the only thing sealed here.”

[Suddenly – a mechanical roar echoes. A giant, rusted golem rises from the shadows, powered by ancient magic.]

[SYSTEM]:

Warning: Guardian Protocol active.

Enemy threat level: High.

Golem (roaring):

“INTRUDER. PURGE.”

[Panel: Eron steps forward, sword glowing in his hand.]

Eron (calm):

“I was hoping for a test.”

[He vanishes with a flash—appearing mid-air above the golem.]

Eron:

“Let’s see if my hands remember war.”

[Scene: A blinding slash of energy tears through the air—Eron cuts into the golem’s shoulder. It screams.]

Sister (watching in shock):

He’s… not just strong. He’s terrifying.

[Final Panel: The golem crashes down, defeated. Eron lands softly, the blade still glowing.]

Eron (thinking):

One weapon recovered. Nine more to go. And with each one… I get closer to the truth.
