Chapter 1: The Awakening

The world was vast, with the hum of the future lingering in every corner. And yet, despite all its advancements, there were moments when its foundations seemed as fragile as the air itself. For the protagonist, this realization came with a sudden and brutal jolt.

A wealthy man in his past life, he had never known real danger—until one fateful night. A knife had pierced his chest, and with it, his life had ended.

But it didn’t end there.

"Where... am I?" he whispered, staring up at the unfamiliar sky above him.

The air felt different, ancient, yet strangely familiar. The vibrant blue of the sky was interrupted by the sprawl of dense trees—tropical, wild, and untamed. The faint sound of rustling leaves brushed his ears as his body began to stir.

He was lying on the ground, dirt staining his white tunic, and as he rose, the surroundings began to take shape.

His body felt wrong. Weak.

"What... happened to me?" he muttered, glancing around in confusion. His hand instinctively reached for his chest, expecting to find blood, but there was none. Instead, the cool sensation of a strange power lingered beneath his skin.

As he stumbled to his feet, a boy appeared before him. The boy was tall for his age, wearing a tunic that looked like it had been tailored for battle. His eyes, sharp and calculating, studied the MC carefully.

"You're awake," the boy said, his voice calm yet laced with an odd familiarity. "I thought you'd be out for longer."

"Who are you?" the MC asked, taking a step back. "Where am I?"

The boy smiled slightly, as if this situation were not strange at all. "I am Eron," he replied. "And you're in a world that doesn’t belong to you—at least, not anymore."

"A world... that doesn't belong to me?" The MC frowned. "What do you mean? What is this place?"

Eron looked at him seriously. "You died in your previous life. You were reborn here, in a time far before your own. The year is 196 BC, and you are now part of a forgotten history."

The words didn’t make sense, not at first. How could it be? How could he, a man from a future where technology was the very lifeblood of existence, find himself in the past? And worse yet, why did he feel so… weak?

Eron seemed to read his thoughts. "It will take some time for you to adjust," he said, "but I’m here to guide you. You were sent here for a reason."

A faint, unsettling realization began to dawn on the MC. There was something more to this than mere coincidence. Something deeper.

As if on cue, a strange voice echoed in his mind. "System activated. Welcome to the God-Killing System."

The voice was robotic, emotionless, and it sent a shiver down his spine. "What is this?" he asked, his voice trembling.

Eron’s eyes narrowed. "That... is your true gift. You may not understand it now, but it’s the key to everything."

The MC looked down at his hands, clenching them into fists. A powerful, unfamiliar energy coursed through him. This was no ordinary reincarnation. He was meant for something far greater.

"What am I supposed to do now?" he asked, uncertainty creeping into his voice.

Eron placed a hand on his shoulder. "You’re going to become something that this world hasn’t seen in centuries—a Weapon Master."
