One CONDITION

Yuri was very upset. She couldn't stop thinking about how her life was going to be a mess.

"Yuri, see this wedding dress isn't it pretty?" her mother said with a big smile on her face.

"Yeah, it's pretty, but why are showing the wedding dress to me now and from where did it come this early?" Yuri asked confusingly.

"Oh my little girl, you don't know how lucky you are. Yesterday, my son-in-law called. He said that engagement and wedding should be on same day and that's today. We also preferred a western style wedding like his family does too. So we agreed." her mother was telling her with great enthusiasm.

"What? Are you crazy you don't know him, I don't know him and you want me to marry a guy whom I don't even like? And you even didn't informed me about this marriage shit."

"Yuri" Mrs Kim shouted. Mind your language and your behavior. We, the parents decided about whom you have to marry and when. Don't question our decision."

Yuri got furious. She started shouting and complaining about her family's behavior towards her.

"You all can't even wait to sell me to that man? You all just see me as a tool who can fix your problems and can be the greatest reason of your profits and benefits. You are the lackey ones who can't even handle the business. You all believe that the stupid son of yours can do everything for you and I am just a doll for you all, whom you can put on the showcase so as soon as possible you could find a buyer for me. And you have already done that.

But don't ever think that I am going to be the puppet of you all, I won't" before Yuri could blurt any other hurtful words, Mrs. Kim slapped her with all her might.

"You ungrateful bastard. We shouldn't have gave birth to you at all" said her mother angrily.

We provided you with our best. From the moment you were born, we have treated you like a princess and now we are in problems, you can't even sacrifice this much for your parents? said her mother with sadness in her eyes.

Mrs. Kim looks at her daughter who was crying badly.

Mrs. Kim sighs.

"Fine, don't marry him. We'll handle the problem ourselves." said her mother reluctantly.

"Really?" asked Yuri will full of hopes in her eyes.

"Yes, but on one condition." said her mother with full of determination.

"What condition?" asked Yuri.

" *You have to leave our family, you won't be able to use surname KIM, you won't be the part of family KIM.* If you want to cancel this marriage then you have to accept this condition." said Mrs. Kim without looking at her daughter.

"You can't do this to me" shouted Yuri.

"I am going to talk to dad about how unfair you are to me." said Yuri in a sobbing voice.

"Your dad was the one who set this condition up for you." said her mother with sighs.

Yuri was shocked. She couldn't believe that the family who given her so much love and importance, one day they'll threaten her for their own benefits.

She didn't know how to handle the the situation, how to convince them. She felt that no one was at her side, no one was there to understand her, to at least speak for her. She just felt lonely and hopeless at that time, at that moment.

"Fine, I'll marry him." Yuri agreed reluctantly.
