Chapter 1 - Mate

Scarlett (P.O.V)

"Get up ! Ugh for goddess sake get your lazy up " I groaned " **** off lucus , stop being a pain in my *** for once in your lifetime " I said and pressed my pillow on my ear to stop his annoying voice from reaching my ears . Lucus was my beta , my second in command .

"Oh see who finally decided to get up and grace us with their presence , we are so lucky to get in your presence Alpha Scarlett " he said sarcastically. I just turned my back at him " Oh come on scar get up I've been trying to wake you for past half and hour , you still need to meet the students and then get ready for school yourself and if you don't get up you know Adam will have our asses , and I dont wanna get my *** kicked just beacause you were being a lazy *** "

"Remind me again , why the heck did I wanted to be the alpha so eagerly . Actually don't answer it , you will taunt me at the end , and I don't want to make my day more shittier than it already has become by seeing your face the first thing in the morning " I said . He rose his eyebrow at me and smirked " Oh really , then I think Adam or mike will be more than happy to wake you up from tomorrow , so that you won't have see my face the first thing in the morning anymore . "

"No no no I was just kidding , my day is become more bright by seeing your face you know , you have such a handsome face " I said with the biggest smile I can give . Only the thought of adam or mike waking me up gets me goosebumps cuz they have both have a PhD in 'how to be a asshole to Scarlett ' . I don't even wanna remember how they woke me up let alone they waking me up daily .

He just shook his head and laughed " OK , now please get ready , you only have 20 minutes remaining , you have already wasted 10 mins bickering with me " saying this he moved his *** out of my room

With a big sigh I got up . I took short 5 min shower and stared at the 2 dresses my brother had picked out for me . Well for your information I have no clothing sense at all , my brother is the one who picks clothes for me , the only clothes I'm allowed to choose for myself is pajamas and comfy clothes to wear at home . I'm not complaining at all cuz I know if I wear something of my choice , I can guareenty you I'll make a joker of myself in front of the whole pack . So I just keep my mouth shut and wear what my brother has chosen , but he still gives me a choice as he picks 2 outfits and I can choose between them .

Anyway let's see what we have today , I have a black ripped jeans , a red crop top with a black jacket on top with white shoes and a blue dress with spaghetti straps with a short black 3/4th sleaves jacket it has a triangle at the chest , it doesn't show much cleavage , it has a black thin belt and is flowy down the belt , with a small guitar design at the corner paired with black knee lengh black boots .

I chose to were the blue dress . I wore my mom's necklace which she gave me before she passed away and put my hair in a high ponytail . As for my make up , I can't do make up so I just put on some lightly tinted lip balm , that it , I can only do this much , don't judge there is no such rule as ' every girl should know how to use make up ' and even if there is any such rule , do u think I give a shit ? Well I don't . And I know I am a natural and rare beauty , I took over my mom but had my dad's eyes , I had skin so fair that it was as if its just a white cloth spread on my body with a little bit of skin type shade , my emerald green eyes had shine in them , and my straight pitch black hair falled till my mid-thigh .

So after getting ready I had 7 minutes to get my *** to the meeting room so instead of having breakfast I made myself a smoothie , pored it in a sipper and made my way to the meeting room sipping on my delicious smoothie.

I entered the room at correct 7 , not a second early , not a second late . Everyone was busy chatting so I cleared my throat to gain their attention . " Well you all must be wondering why the hell I called you all here , right ? " Everyone nodded " well , I have some news to share , the elders want us to allow humans to enter our school ,

we have discussed it with the elders but they say that it will be beneficial to us too , we can find our mates - I know its rare to have a human mate but not impossible - and we can learn to keep our wolfs in control ,which will help us while roming out between humans "

A girl raised her hand I nodded for her to go ahead " Our pack trains our members to control their wolves , so it won't get us any benifits . so why did we agree to it ? "

"Good question honey , but what if some of us finds their mates , and even if we don't it will still benefit us . We train them but this is like a practical exam , it can help us to see who needs more practice and all " I said with a smile . " Anymore questions or have I made myself clear ? " I asked.

Some shook their heads and replied like "No" and "crystal" . I nodded my head at their replied and dismissed the meeting . As Lucas and I were getting out of the meeting room , molly the packs slut made her way towards us . She is so much power crazed that she fucking flirts with me her 'Female alpha' . I can't even say anything to her as it makes her think that i refuse her cuz I'm not good enough for her and that shows how much I love her . I'm like ' listen here bitch , I'm not a bisexual slut like you ( I'm not against anyones sexuality , its just that I know this bitch is straight and acts like a bisexual in hopes for a Luna ) , so unless and until you grow some balls and a **** don't come to me and even if you get successful in it , I'm not gonna be your fucking mate so **** OFF !!' but I can't say it out loud .

If I say it 1) My brother aka Adam will have my *** for it and 2) I'm sure as hell she'll say something back which will make me more angry and everyone in the pack already tries to keep me anything but angry cuz when I'm angry no one literally no one Until now have ever been able to calm me down in less than 2 days but maybe in the future my mate will be able to calm me down.

Anyway I've tolerated her enough , this needs to stop . Molly was busy flirting with lucus so I cleared my throat to catch molly's attention . Molly looked at me and gave me a slutery smile " hey babe , I missed you so much , I know you did too " and she winked at me , she FUCKING WINKED AT ME . I took a deep breath and said "listen molly , today at 7 meet me in my room along with lucus we need to - " she cut me off and gasped "I didnt know you were in the idea of having a threesome with -" I cut her off "we need to talk , and get your head out of the freaking gutter and please for goddessess sake wear proper clothes " I said .

She just smirked and said " It's ok babe only we three are here and I know you don't want others to know about us , they won't understand it . I'll be there at 6:30 we can warm up until lucus comes" and went away .

Lucus was laughing his head off and I was just this close , to going and ripping her head off her body . later lucus convinced me to go to school with him in his car as her knew that if I took my car , in my slightly angry state , I will run my car over her body till she dies , and trust me he's not wrong at all . so we made our way to school . We were late and lucus blamed me , I was like 'hey , I wasn't the fucker who was driving the car slower than a fucking snail ' .

But I refrained myself from saying as I know it will only lead us to bickering and wasting more of our time . Mike , my gamma i.e my third-in-command was waiting for me and lucus . We three had same the same schedule everyday , well my brother made sure of it cuz he knows that only these 2 idiots can convince me if something happens .

So we made our way to our first lecture which was physics . I hate physics with a passion , goddess knows how I manage to pass this subject . After entering the school grounds my wolf , Bella was restless , I tried asking her what was wrong but she didn't reply , so I did not push her further . As I was in front of the class door she was pacing back n forth in my head . As I entered the classroom the most amazing smell hit me , I started sniffing to search for the smell , as my eyes landed on a boy - sitting in my seat might I add - and our eyes met , the world around me just stopped ,I got mesmerized in his ocean blue orbs , it was like we were the only people in this class , and bella started howling and screaming in my mind 'MATE' .I felt what I had heard from others , I felt complete . The professor cleared his throat to pull us out of our state . My mate was blushing furiously while I was glaring daggers at the professor later I turned my attention back to my mate and I said under my breath "Mine" and made my way toward the seat beside him .
