Scene 1: BigHit Studio 3 – Next Morning

That day

The studio was quiet. A single spotlight in the center, a camera in the corner, and her heart about to leap out of her chest.

(Panel 1: Kanchan enters Studio 3, dressed in a simple white outfit with soft makeup, her hair tied back neatly.)

Staff Member:

“You’ll have ten minutes with Jimin-ssi. This is part of a new series showcasing rising dancers connecting with artists they admire. Keep it respectful, and good luck.”

Kanchan (nodding nervously):

“Yes, thank you.”

(Panel 2: Kanchan steps into the center of the studio. She can hear faint footsteps behind the curtain.)

Kanchan (thinking):

“He’s here. It’s really happening.”

Scene 2: Jimin Enters the Room

(Panel 3: Jimin walks in, dressed casually in black joggers and a gray oversized hoodie. He looks a bit tired but smiles gently upon seeing her.)

“Hello again. Kanchan, right?”

“I saw your performance. You danced with… feeling. That’s rare. Where did you learn?”

Kanchan (softly):

“I learned by watching you. I practiced on rooftops, parks, sometimes even classrooms. You were my teacher… without ever knowing it.”

(Jimin’s eyes soften.)

Jimin:

“That means a lot. Thank you.”

Scene 3: The Emotional Connection

(Panel 5: Jimin leans forward, intrigued.)

Jimin:

“Why do you dance?”

Kanchan (hesitating, then answering from the heart):

“When my family struggled… when I felt invisible… your music was the only thing that reminded me I mattered. Dancing helped me speak when I had no voice. It’s how I survive.”

(Jimin looks at her with surprise and admiration.)

“I understand that. Truly. That’s why I dance too.”

“Let’s begin the challenge — each of you will perform a freestyle to a random BTS song. No rules. Just feel it.”

(Panel 7: The track begins — it’s “Serendipity.” Jimin lets Kanchan go first.)

(Kanchan closes her eyes and begins to move — soft, fluid, and dreamy. Her motions are filled with emotion, grace, and subtle nods to Jimin’s iconic choreography.)

(Jimin watches, transfixed.)

Jimin (thinking):

“She’s not just imitating me. She’s… expressing something. Like her soul is speaking directly to mine.”

“You really do dance like your heart’s on fire.”

Kanchan (blushing):

“Only when you're watching.”

(They both laugh softly. The mood is light, but something deeper lingers in the air.)

“That was beautiful. We’ll wrap up here.”
