Chapter 2

Raven had pale skin and her hair was jet black. One might think her eyes were black too but they were deep brown. One might also think that she got named after her appearance.

But she knew better it was because she had some other things that could be related to a raven ; bad luck , inauspicious , death.... in short almost everything bad .

Her mother had died giving birth to her. And her father hated her for it. He used to say she was bad luck. That's why he named her Raven

He used to say she was the spawn of the Devil but that was mostly because she looked nothing like her parents. Her mother was a blonde with blue eyes and her father had copper hair and luminous amber eyes .

Her brother , Blaise (who's elder to her by 4 years) used to tell her that he wasn't always like that. He had loved their mother a lot and losing her was really painful. But he was more considerate towards her brother.

He had blue eyes and copper hair . One could say that he was something of a looker .He was really nice too , even though they fought like cat and dog, Raven thought so too. But she'd never say it to his face.

Everyone except for her brother criticized her every move. So she stopped caring for what the others said. She loved music and used to spend a lot of time with a headset, shutting out the whole world.

But her worst misfortune happened on the day before her 9th birthday. Her brother wanting to give her a little something for her birthday forced their father to take him to a store. But they met with an accident and her father died on the day of her birthday. Her brother survived with some major injuries.

Everyone one except for him started to believe that she really is bad luck. She didn't care about that though. But it started to matter once they began to argue about who should take her in. No one wanted her. But they were ready to take in her brother. Her aunt Wynn took in her brother. He didn't want to leave her but it wasn't his choice to make. Raven was sent to a foster home.

She was bullied at first but then she learned to defend herself. She learned martial arts. And started to act cool. She dressed in an edgy -punk -goth mix. She was really tall and had intense eyes. All in all she looked somewhat intimidating .

She never cared about studies mostly because she didn't care. She spent her time listening to music and playing basketball ,and sometimes (secretly) chess.

Clarisse was her roommate since they were 12. She would refer to Raven as a friend but that was being nice Clarisse hated her.

Raven doesn't care about it. She (Raven) practically have zero to zero friends . They think she is bad luck. She doesn't care about it either

But she had made a lot of enemies time to time. One of the reasons for it is that she wasn't ready to do anything for the sake of popularity. The second thing is she always picked up fights and never lose them. Other thing was she didn't care what ever they said about her in social media unless it's very horrible in that case she would pick up a fight. But the main reason was her pride, she wasn't ready to low her head before anyone.

Except maybe her brother. The only person she cared about was him. He visited her on special occasions. He wanted to become her guardian after he turned 18 but she didn't want him to ruin his life for her. So she continued to live in the foster home.

That's when somebody else _Miranda and Tristan Vlad _decided to adopt her .They were super rich and that attracted more enemies. She wasn't sure why they chose 'her' of all people.

They were going to send her to another _ fancier _ school in a month. And then she got poisoned. She don't know when it happened or who did it. But she's definitely dead.
