Mission: Ion

Head guard: Tell us where the pirate base is... and we'll set you free.

Felix: NEVER!

Rei: I don't think we're making out of this alive.

Head guard: Ok then.

He whips out a stun gun and stuns Felix, causing him to faint.

Rei: FELIX!!! WHAT DID YOU DO?!?

Head guard: That suit. You damn traider gets no right to speak in federational operations.

Rei: I'm going to kill-

He tases her too, causing her to faint.

Rei wakes up and notices Zeitos a sleep next to her.

Rei: Where's Felix?

Head guard: Here.

She glances up and notices an unconscious Felix on the arms of the head guard.

Head guard: We're taking your friend to Ion. If you wish to see him again, tell us the location of the main pirate base.

Rei: Let him go.

She tries to get up but gets shot down immediately.

Head guard: Until then... he'll suffer.

The head guard falls back down, directly into a rocket ship which blasts off into outerspace.

Few hours later.

Zeitos slowly opens his eyes and sees humself and Rei in a cave.

Zeitos: What happened?

He starts looking around.

Rei: You're up-

Zeitos: Where's Felix?

Rei: Well, y'see...

Few moments later.

*Boom*

The wall of a rocket launch HQ is destroyed and as the dust settles, Zeitos and Rei are revealed.

Zeitos: Where... is ... Felix?

He grabs a guard by the leg and throws him towards a few other guards.

Rei uses her gun and shoot a computer area, causing a small explosion which takes down a few guards.

Zeitos takes his blade out and pins a guard to the wall using it.

Zeitos: Where... is... Felix?

Rei: We need to get to the rocket area

Zeitos lets go and glares the guard, still panting.

He suddenly slices the Guard through the neck right before blasting into the main building with Rei.

They clam down a wall on top of a few guards and continue dashing through the endless hallways.

Rei notices a few guards chasing her and to respond, she shoots a pillar with her gun, causing the whole hallway to collapse behind them.

Zeitos kicks a guard to the side when taking a sharp left turn.

Rei: (Jeez. I've never seen him this serious before.)

Zeitos and Rei blast through a mechanical door into the launch pad. There, they toss a guard off their guard post right before entering the rocket.

Zeitos: Ion right?

Rei: Yep.

Zeitos: Take us to Ion.

He pins his charged cannon at the guard.

Guard: Ok ok. Don't shoot.

They launch the rocket and charge towards a distant star system.

They crash-land there and settling the dust, Zeitos knocks down 8 guards.

Zeitos: Where... is... Felix?

Meanwhile.

Felix is chained up to a wall using energy chains and nets.

Head guard: How long do you plan to keep this strong act?

Felix: I plan to keep it up till the likes of you leave this world.

The head guard chuckles.

Head guard: Your friends are here, y'know? Wouldn't want them getting hurt, would ya?

Felix: Zeitos WILL be the end of you. Mark my words.

Head guard: So he's the one, huh?

Suddenly, the wall bursts open as Zeitos and Rei enter the room.

Head guard: Hello... Rebels. Have you come to seek death?

All the guards in the room charge their guns at them.

Head guard: You should've lis-

Suddenly Zeitos's blade reaches his neck.

Zeitos: Where... Is... Felix?

Head guard: I'd tell you... only if you hold your end of the-

His head gets sliced in half as Zeitos's eye glows red.

He turns around and sees Rei fighting the guards.

The guard launches an attack which she dodges, causing it to hit another guard.

A guand table suddenly hits att the guards, knocking them out.

Zeitos: Let's go.

They destroy another door and enter a hallway lined with energy cells.

Zeitos: This place must be it.

He notices Felix chained up to a wall.

Zeitos: FELIX?!?

He dashes forward and trues to enter the cell but the energy wall shocks him, knocking him back.

Felix: Destroy the panel on the cell's left.

He nods and punches it, causing the wall and chains of every cell to collapse, setting Felix free.

Felix clears off some dust from his body.

Felix: That was way too painful.

Suddenly, Zeitos runs and hugs him tightly.

Zeitos: Please... never do that again.

Tears roll down his cheeks as Felix gently hugs him back.

Rei: Guys... we might have a situation.

Tens of guards enter the room, surrounding them.

Zeitos gets in a battle pose as Felix starts to crack his fingers when all the guards are taken down by other inmates.

Inmate: You've helped us enough.

He punches a guard to the ground.

Inmate: Get going.

Zeitos's face lights up.

Zeitos: Thanks.

They see two space pirates fainted in a cell. They pick them up, get a pirate ship and vanish out of thin air.

Vin: You've done it master.

He grabs a small chain and stretches it.

Vin: I wonder how painful it'll be.

He shatters the chain with one pull.

Meanwhile.

Federation leader: You-

Echo: Any last words.

Federation leader: Curse you.

Blood starts to come from his mouth when, Echo snatches the Bharmastra.

Echo: This power is... outstanding.

She looks at the almost dying federation leader and laughes.

Echo: You were fun to toy with.

She gives a sinister smile right before blasting towards the universal center.

A ship lands on the main pirate base as Felix, Zeitos and Rei come out with the two pirates.

Zeitos: That was too long of a journey.

Felix: Hey Zeitos.

Zeitos: Huh?

Felix: Thanks... for saving me and showing me a new light.

Zeitos just smiles.

Rei looks away and puffs her cheeks.

Rei: No 'thanks' to me?

Felix: Rei, thank you so very much.

She blushes and looks away.

Rei: Yeah.

Zeitos: Wanna hit the bar.

Felix: Heck yeah.
