E.B 10 – Hard Time

For a few moments since he opened the door, Reiji staring at Rintarou. He couldn’t move his gaze from the person he like until he heard Rintarou asking him.

Rintarou : “Uhm, Senpai, is Saijima Senpai here?”

Reiji : (Clearing his throat) “Ehm..! He’s not here Tsuga-kun”

Rintarou : (Surprised) “Ehh..!? Senpai you know my name?”

Reiji: “Yes and you'd better go inside, Tsuga-kun”

He widened the door to let Rintarou walking in to the room and closed the door. Reiji made a sign to Rintarou to following him, they were walking to the couch in the middle of the room and Rintarou take his seat as Reiji mentioned him to sit down.

Reiji : “Saijima-kun told me that you came here to help him, is that correct Tsuga-kun?”

Rintarou : (Nodded) “Yes”

Reiji : ”Are you ready, Tsuga-kun?”

Rintarou : (Nodded) “Yes, I’m ready”

Reiji : “Okay, now I'll teach you how to do secretarial duty”

Rintarou : “Wait a second Senpai, I have a question for you”

Reiji : “Yes, what is that?”

Rintarou : “You know my name, but I don’t know your name”

Reiji : “Ah, sorry. I forgot to introduce myself, I’m Seito Kaichou and my name is Kawamura Reiji”

Rintarou surprised knowing that person infront of him was his students council president, he immediately get up from his seat and bowed his head.

Rintarou : “My apologize Kaichou to not knowing that you are Seito Kaichou”

Reiji : “That was alright and raise your head, Tsuga-kun”

Rintarou : “Yes, Kawamura Kaichou”

Reiji : “Please call me Reiji”

Rintarou : (Shook his head) “No, I can’t call you with just your name, Kawamura Kaichou”

Reiji : “Well, how about Senpai?”

Rintarou : (Nodded) “Okay, Kawamura Senpai”

Reiji : (Smile) “Well, let’s start to work”

Rintarou : (Nodded) “Yes, Kawamura Senpai”

They were moving from the couch to the desk that Saijima usually used and Reiji teach Rintarou how to do it, a couple of hours later Rintarou finished his work and he want to go home, so he told Reiji about that.

Rintarou : “I’m done with this, may I take my leave now, Kawamura Senpai?”

Reiji : (Smiled and nodded) “You may go, but would you come here again everyday, Tsuga-kun?”

Rintarou : “Everyday?”

Reiji : “Yes, you know as Seito Kaichou I had a lot of work to do and I want you to helping me”

Hearing his Seito Kaichou request made Rintarou scratched his cheek without an itch on his index finger, and didn't know what to say to reject Kawamura Reiji's request.

Reiji : “You don’t want to, do you Tsuga-kun?”

Rintarou : “Uhm.., I’m sorry Kawamura Senpai, I can't make it every day.., but every time when I can then I will come to help you”

Reiji : (Nodded) “That’s okay, Tsuga-kun. You can come whenever you want to come”

Rintarou : (Nodded) “I’m leaving now, bye Kawamura Senpai”

Reiji : "See you soon, Tsuga-kun"

And then Rintarou bowed his head and went out from the student council room and going home.

After that day Reiji always made an excuse for Rintarou to come to the student council room and help him, if Rintarou didn't come to the student council room at recess, then Reiji came to Rintarou’s classroom at recess to invite him to lunch or for some other reason.

That's not all he does to get closer to Rintarou, he also tries to bring him home at all times. Even though Rintarou had refused, Reiji kept insisting that it was night and it was not safe for Rintarou to come home alone. This has been going on for over three weeks and during which time their friendship has become closer.

But they didn't know their closeness had made many students from other classes jealous and hate him, which caused Rintarou to start getting very badly treated.

One day when Rintarou came to the school and opened his shoe locker, suddenly out of his locker came this stinking mess of garbage and fell on him that made the other students laugh at him.

The other day he found out that his shoes were missing from his locker, that caused him to come home wearing his uwabaki. Another day he found a message without name, saying he could get out of school or he would receive a terrible punishment.

This all caused Rintarou to be afraid and uncomfortable to go to school, this situation also made Ayako worried.

Ayako : "Rin-kun, I don't understand why that you had this problem and as I know you aren't doing anything bad that caused you to receive all of this"

Rintarou : "I didn't know either Aya-chan, I'm so afraid of this"

Ayako : "You'd better be careful, Rin-kun"

Rintarou : (Sighed) "Yeah, you are right, but how?"

Ayako : (Holding Rintarou's hands) "I don't know how, but I'm gonna help you with all my might"

Rintarou : "Thanks Aya-chan"
