ch 2 : explanation

Even after all that Helen wasn't as sad as she was because since they worked in the same office, she could glance at Ethan from time to time.

One day during a meeting in their office. Ethan was giving an important presentation. And Helen instead of paying attention to the presentation her eyes kept drifting to Ethan reminiscing the both of them together. The only time they ever interacted was at meetings merely as colleagues. Yet she longed for more. But she was scared! Scared to interfere because she knew Ethan was happy with Maddy and if she wanted them to break up.................. It would cause a problem between her, Ethan, Julian (Maddy's brother) and others too. She didn't want that to happen of course.

During the presentation Helen was daydreaming. She snapped out her thoughts when Ethan called out her name "Helen?? Are you paying attention?" This was the first time in months her name came out of her mouth. Usually he was cold......... And would only address her as 'Ms.' but what happened today?

"This is important for both me and the company at the entire cities most popular companies Staff party which includes you to Helen Beaumont!" he said sternly, yet his eyes softenedd as he looked in her eyes. This was probably the first time he looked in her eyes,, so carefully he thought to himself "DAMN! Did her eyes always look like that?"

After the meeting was over everyone exited the building. Helen was at the bridge near the building she looked at the water her expression saddened. Ethan walked out of the building. He saw Helen at a distance and felt something. Like He was longing for her. He walked up to her and stood there for some time till he said" You know Maddy doesn't like me talking to you anymore, I shouldn't even right now but-"

He let out a sigh as he felt water droplets land on his hair, which slowly turned rapid, it started raining. He froze up feeling cold. Likewise, he seemed as if he wanted to say something, but unfortunately it started raining

Helen ignored his words" C'mon, let's go to the bus stand over there" he said bluntly. Helen answered" Why? How can you just randomly walk up to me and give me orders?"

He answered" No Helen I- I feel I should explain myself because it's bothering me........ And I think you are wondering why I must have left you ! "

Helen replied a bit irritated "What's there to explain Ethan Schnez?"

Ethan was shocked to hear his full name from her mouth" Helly please listen to me-"

" Don't call me that" she said frustrated" you lost the rights to call me that, only the person who loved me called me that don't you dare say it !!!"

Ethan was surprised by her rage"Ok I'm sorry i won't call you that, but please just lIsten to what I have to say at least !"
