*Scream*
What?? A while ago, the van was just…fine.
*FWOOSH!*
Screams of agony were heard from Molly. A shattered fragment of the van's window was buried deep in her abdomen, causing it to bleed like it was a river.
There, she was crawling away with her blood leaving a trail behind. "Nooo," *Whimper* she was crying out painfully, seeing the van being conquered by the fire.
All of her friends… gone. She was all alone, yet, she kept hearing footsteps from behind her. It was heavy and felt very eerie. The fire was screaming like a wild beast.
She turned her head. "Adrian?" She asks, painfully turning to fully see the one standing behind her. It was a tall man and he was covered in shadows. His form was all black, but his eyes… his eyes were piercing. It was like a predator and a prey.
She couldn't breathe. It was terrifying. The man raised his axe and aimed for Molly's head which got her screaming in denial and horror.
*CHOP!*
[Ears Ringing Intensely]
*RING!!!!*
[Inaudible]
"Molly,"
*Ring!*
A voice was calling to her, and she could barely hear it due to the ringing of her ears.
"Molly wake up." Someone was shoving her shoulder. It felt way slower and calmer than earlier. "Psst, Wake up." She slowly opened her eyes and to what shock it gave her.
"Joana."
"Yeah, and what's happening to you??" She asked her with so much concern carved on her face, her forehead seemingly wrinkled with anxiety.
"Out of nowhere, you were crying and having some sort of seizures." She explains with every word packed with utmost concern and visible worrying. "You okay?" She asks sternly but more gentler than usual.
Some of her friends in the van were looking at her and either concern or weirded out.
*Sniffle*
"I'm doing fine." Molly told them softly. "Just a terrible dream." She explains with the last part a little shaky.
"I really hope you are…" Joana tells her gently. She then reassured her that everything was completely under control, and that nothing could ever go wrong, that the plan isn't gonna get ruined.
*Thud*
The van was still running smoothly. It was now night. The winds were blowing more slowly and cold. The surrounding was all pitch-dark and that only peak of the trees were visible under the moonlight.
It's been a while after Molly had woken up from her nightmare. The van was once silent again, obviously not sure what was the reason.
The crickets can still be heard singing as the van moves along the very steep road. Joana was keeping an eye for Molly if anything happens again, and that she would be quick to respond.
"Your hands feel cold, Moe." Joana whispers to her carefully and gentle, caressing Molly's delicate hands to probably warm them up by a bit.
The night and environment there were very cold, that everyone were now wearing thick clothes as contradictions.
Greg was still focusing on the road with what little front lights lighting up ahead. He was now getting a little sleepy, but he was serious on not being reckless and kept on driving carefully but not slow.
*Yawns*
Greg yawns, indicating that he's tired.
"Hey guys, wanna rest for tonight? I'm spent like I haven't slept since the other day." He told them off with an obviously tired tone.
"Fine by me, dude." Adrian was first to reply. Then the others agreed with a yuh, sure, fine, yes.
Greg then pulls over and parks at the side of the road. The van rested under the trees that were swinging around as the cold wind blows.
He finishes parking away from the road, avoiding the risk of getting hit by hell-knows what'll come rushing by. Everyone gets ready to rest. The tranquility of the environment envelops the group, making some cover themselves with blankets or something.
The night grew darker and colder. The moon lightens up the peak of the trees. There's something special about the atmosphere partaking on the surrounding.
There, everyone slowly rested their eyes, and sleeping in their own ways. Molly was last to shut her eyes, thinking about why would she have such a nightmare. But anyways, she fall asleep, quietly, not like Trevor who's been snoring like shit.
. . . . . . . . .
-Morning-
"Up and buckle up, Motherf—", "Shut the fuck up Trev, it's too early, you 'sycho." Rexie shuts Trevor up with a very annoyed glare.
"Geez, woman." He responds with a scratch on the back of his head.
"Alright, let's get ready, people." Greg tells everyone to get ready right after he got in the van from taking a piss outside.
"Ugh," some exclaimed, indicating that they were still not fully awake. "No can do, folks." Greg starts up the engine.
*Revving*
"Off we go." He said with a smug before driving off. The trip had resumed from its rest.
*Music Playing*
The van was being lively once again. Everyone inside was talking about different topics. It was truly a marvelous sight. (I sound like I'm from 1600s bruh).
Cecily and Kristofer were listening to a documentary on the phone with AirPods on. It was kind of boring I guess, but we listen and we don't judge.
Rexie was typing on her phone for the freaking 100th time throughout the road trip.
And then, a few minutes later, Cecily went to the back of the van to do something, right after the documentary had ended. Kristofer then returned his phone to his camping bag below his seat.
*Insert Loner*
Molly and Joana were talking quietly. They were probably talking about their plans for the camping trip which made them giggle and smile, quietly.
Whilst on the other side of the van, Trevor and Adrian were causing a ruckus. They were absolutely a hundred percent making a mess and being loud as fuck.
"Hate to break it to you, but that Snickers is mine." Trevor steals the chocolate from Adrian, they looked pretty close and fun together. "Fucker, I bought that!." Adrian snickered. "Oh give it to me, I'm broke right now." Trevor smirked, looking at Adrian directly at the eyes.
The van running through the endless road. Something else was transpiring as they exchange locked gazes, both not backing down as they continue to grin and smirk.
The moment shared was truly something beyond Kristofer could watch across the seat. Thus, he just averted his gaze to the window, closing his eyes with a sigh afterwards.
The sun was now slowly close to setting. How quick the day's about to go down just like what happened to Trevor's brain when the math exams started two weeks ago.
The sight of the road with the sun changing the sky's color was very magnificent as ever. It really wasn't tiring to watch this kind of sight everytime.
. . . . . . . . .
-Afternoon-
The van continues to move further into the vast road which seems like eternity if you focus and keep waiting.
Greg was undoubtedly very patient, I guess? Since he's still focusing like what drivers do, except that he has a serious face but still calm as ever.
Along the road trip, Greg seemed to be tilting his head a little, like he was suspecting something from the driver's seat to the windshield of the van.
The van's windows were actually thin and not tinted, although it's actually a bit tough than you think, I guess…
"Adri, care to tell me that one over there is a gas station?" Greg asks, spotting something from afar. It looked like a gas station from a distance.
Adrian gets up from his seat and joins Greg. He squints his eyes a little to confirm. "I'd say it is." He assures with a smirk.
The van then goes through the gas station. Stopping there for some necessities.
Surprisingly, no one was there, and it looked freakishly old and abandoned. The paint was worn off. The shed was full of dusts and cobwebs.
There, they spotted some bottles. "That what I think it is?" Greg contemplates with the other boys, whilst the girls took a trip onto the old and small restrooms, although they were still quite decent for service.
After a while, Trevor then grabs the bottles. "A fuel is a fuel, my men." He reasons with a grin, looking like a prick. "Sure, I wouldn't mind detonating the van." Adrian counters which was kind of logical, since the bottles were from nowhere.
Trevor puts down the bottles. "Oh yeah? What if I wreck your face first?" He snaps out of a sudden, thinking that Adrian was ridiculing his idea.
"What??" Adrian replies with a frown, seemingly heating up. "You heard me right, Fucker." Trevor spat with a glare.
Trevor charged at Adrian and punched his fucking fist on the Blonde's precious face. Adrian then gets triggered, returning the punch onto Trevor's face who's been gritting his teeth like crazy.
The tension arises as well as the temperature around them in the gas station.
The girls then returned, arriving at the scene which had them taken by confusion.
Molly, on the other hand, was getting anxious. She doesn't even know why, but she feels like it's dangerous. That the gas station might blow up from the arising heat around them.
She sweats intensely as the fight continues. Joana then notices this and shouts. "You Fuckers just gonna spar there, or we carry on the trip???" She was clearly annoyed, ready to tear then apart.
Rexie scoffs. "Classic."
Although they heard her, Adrian and Trevor wouldn't back down. "Stay out of this, Bitch!" Trevor barks back.
Then out of a sudden,
"YOU FUCKIN' IDIOTS!!"
They turned to Greg, surprised. He was usually a calm dude, but it was no surprise since he was a reserved officer who passed the assessment corps.
"Can't you guys wait until we get the fuck there???" He was clearly pissed off. The girls watching them from a distance, impressed.
Kristofer was actually in the van the entire time, watching them from the window while eating chips.
"Now get your asses inside, and BEHAVE!" He shot them a glare. Adrian scoffed while Trevor spat. Trevor was actually more hit. His face was swelling a little.
Molly, Rexie, Cecily and Joana went inside the van. Adrian entered the van next. Trevor was still reluctant, but he entered after a while.
"Right, here we go." Greg tried to sound a bit more calm, but his tone was still obviously annoyed.
The van starts again. The sun that was scorching earlier became a little cloudy. Same as the tension that went down earlier.
They left the gas station without any more interference. Inside the van was silence. It was so quiet that it was deafening.
. . . . . . . . .
It was evening now.
The van had this mood of really quietness.
But, the atmosphere was cut off when the Red-haired complained. "All of you really are a bunch of dumbass idiots." This statement got everyone's attention, even Greg who was focusing on the road, made him listen to whatever what was going on behind him.
"What makes you say that?" Adrian asks with curiosity, but with face deadpanned. "Tch," was all that came from Rexie when she faced Adrian up-close.
"Get your asses altogether." This had them confused, looking at red miss dipshit. She went front with her phone on her hand before standing.
"We never had our groufie since we left, duh!" This lit up the mood of the entire van. "Pose, or you'll look uglier than you already are." Some scoffed while some rolled their eyes.
"Whatever, bitch." Joana said, getting up from her seat. The others then stood up and went up closer, more visible to the phone's camera.
"Can't have our driver being lonely~" Rexie teases which made Greg scoff. "Very funny, Rex." He was now grinning with no control.
They closed in beside Greg. "You guys can do better than that." Rexie tells them off. "Lit!" *Snap*
They took several pictures with different poses and angles which lighten up the whole van.
Though, this still hadn't resolve the angst Adrian and Trevor has since earlier's conflict. They were still upset and mad at each other, not ready to make up.
Moments later, everyone went back to their seats with renewed aura. They were now conversing even for a little and quiet. While Rexie was checking the pictures on her phone, smiling. "These douchebags."
She posted some of it on Instagram, before putting her phone aside, covering herself with a blanket. Rexie is quite irritating, but she's not entirely a terrible person if you ask her friends (even me, if you include me).
The atmosphere was lighten up. Some were now talking with excitement, but somewhat quiet. Kristofer was still typing on his phone, seemingly texting someone.
Right after a few kilometers since the road trip started, "Wake up, everybody!" Greg says with excitement
This piqued the attention of everyone inside the van. Adrian went front to where Greg was driving. "That's dope!" He scoffs with a smile.
Yes, it was Greg's phone. The location indicated that they were nearly there - the destination.
"What the heck's up, Adrian?" Joana asks him seriously. Molly was looking upfront where The two guys where.
Out of the sudden, Greg hits on the gas and quickens the van. This had the others surprised as they had no idea what this two were up to.
*Tires Screeches*
The van turned to the side which made the drive all bumpy with rocks on being drived through.
Everyone was holding tightly to whatever was near them. Rexie was clearly irritated but she was keeping quiet, as she still wasn't sure what the heck is going.
The sight from the windows were changing as the van proceeds to move away from the highway. Slowly, the path seemed to smoothen a little, much better than a few seconds earlier.
Although the leaves of the trees were being hit by the van which keeps making a snapping noise on every contact.
With one final turn, the van's charade had stopped. Outside the window, they saw an open space around them. The moonlight was lighting up that space a little which made it quite a sight, like it's some tourist spot.
"We're here, bozos!" Adrian exclaims with a cheer. Greg then opens the locks of the van, and slides it open. "Ladies first~" Adrian and Greg says with unison.
Some of them scoffed with a smirk before getting up from their seats and going out of the van.
After all the girls got out including Cecily who was last to leave, Greg then shifts his focus to what remains inside.
"Alright, boys. Let's carry some luggages." He commands with playfulness. The two started walking towards the back of the van. "I don't know about you, Kris." Greg teases. "Even I'm not too sure about you either." Adrian adds with another tease.
This made Kristofer embarrassed on his seat, turning his face, so that maybe he would be less embarrassed when he's not looking at them.
Three of the boy (not including boyfie) carried the luggages, showing off those muscles as they step out of the van.
The girls watching over them from a few meters. Joana was disregarding them as she shifts her focus on Molly who's fascinated.
A second later, Kristofer gets out carrying few of the things left inside the van. His arms didn't look that flashy, but it was certainly cute with his face still embarrassed.
They started setting up the things. The girls helped except Rexie who's been busy taking selfies. Cecily was helping more than the other girls with her all over the place.
And here starts the camping…
