Days passed for Aurora in a flurry of both excitement and confusion. On one hand, she was still under the sway of her unexpected encounter with Prince Rohan, while on the other, her curiosity about magic and her fascination with the old book in the library continued to grow.

One morning, as they were having breakfast, Lord Vancroft handed Aurora a formal letter of invitation. The letter was from the King of the South and Prince Rohan. Aurora and Lord Vancroft were invited to the palace.

The King of the South wished to get to know Lord Vancroft better and spend more time with Aurora. The letter spoke highly of Aurora's abilities and her helpfulness towards the King.

Aurora was both surprised and excited by this invitation. She was looking forward to seeing Prince Rohan again but also wondered about the reason for the King's interest.

Lord Vancroft was considering accepting the invitation. The Southern Kingdom could be a powerful ally, and this visit could strengthen the bond between their families.

When they arrived at the palace, the King and Prince Rohan greeted them warmly. The King was particularly kind to Aurora and made it clear that he was impressed by the young woman's intelligence and grace.

During their tea, the King made an unexpected offer. He wanted to take Aurora to the Southern Kingdom. There, she would be able to receive training from the kingdom's best mages and develop her talents. The Southern Kingdom was quite advanced in magic, and the opportunity offered to Aurora was too valuable to miss.

Lord Vancroft and Aurora were surprised by this offer. Aurora was excited but also hesitant. She would have to leave her family and everything she knew behind.

Lord Vancroft was also undecided. He wanted his daughter to take advantage of such an opportunity, but he was worried about sending her alone.

The King gave them time to think. He knew this decision was not an easy one.

When they returned to the manor, Lord Vancroft and Aurora talked at length. Lord Vancroft explained the importance of this offer to his daughter. If Aurora had magical abilities, she could receive the best training in the Southern Kingdom. However, this would also require a great sacrifice.

"What do you think, Aurora?" Lord Vancroft asked, his voice anxious. "Is this the kind of life you want?"

Aurora thought for a while. Her curiosity about magic and her desire to learn new things were immense. But she would also have to leave her family and her home.

Finally, she made her decision.

"Yes, Father," Aurora said, her voice resolute. "I want to activate my magical power."
