The Singhania mansion stood tall and proud in the heart of Rajasthan, its golden domes glinting under the blazing sun. The sprawling estate was alive with activity as guests began to arrive for the wedding of Rudransh Singhania, the feared Mafia King of Rajasthan. The air was thick with the scent of marigolds and roses, their vibrant hues decorating every corner of the mansion. Traditional Rajasthani music echoed through the halls, blending seamlessly with the chatter and laughter of the guests.
Inside, Rudransh's mother, Ashwini Singhania, was busy overseeing final preparations. Her regal saree shimmered as she moved from one room to another, her commands sharp but laced with pride. "Make sure the mandap is perfect," she instructed a decorator. "This is not just a wedding; it's a statement."
In the living room, Rudransh's younger sister, Anushka Singhania, was seated on a plush sofa, sipping chai and teasing her older brother mercilessly. "Bhaiya," she said with a mischievous grin, "I still can't believe you're actually getting married. You've scared away half of Rajasthan's eligible women with your seriousness."
Rudransh stood by the window, his tall frame casting an imposing shadow. At 6'3, he was a man who commanded attention without uttering a word. Dressed in an intricately embroidered sherwani, his sharp features were set in a stoic expression. "Anushka," he replied coolly, his deep voice cutting through her laughter, "this marriage isn't about love or romance. It's about responsibility."
Anushka rolled her eyes dramatically. "Responsibility? Bhaiya, you're marrying Ruchika Verma -a woman who's probably more terrified of you than anything else. Try smiling for once; it won't kill you."
Before Rudransh could respond, Adhiraj Singh Chauhan entered the room. His presence was magnetic-at 6'2 with a sharp jawline and confident stride, he was every bit the CEO of Chauhan Industries and Rudransh's closest ally. "Anushka," Adhiraj said with a smirk, "leave your brother alone. He has enough on his plate without your teasing."
Anushka grinned at him but didn't relent. "Adhiraj bhaiya, you should be helping me tease him! After all, it's not every day that Rudransh Singhania ties the knot."
Rudransh turned away from the window and fixed his piercing gaze on his sister. "Enough," he said firmly. "This wedding is happening as planned. I don't need distractions."
Adhiraj raised an eyebrow but said nothing. He knew better than to argue with Rudransh when he was in one of his moods.
As the afternoon progressed, luxury cars began pulling into the driveway one after another. The Singhania family had spared no expense in hosting one of Rajasthan's grandest weddings. Guests dressed in vibrant lehengas and sherwanis stepped out onto red carpets lined with flower petals.
Ashwini greeted each guest personally, her smile warm but calculated. She knew this wedding wasn't just about Rudransh; it was about solidifying alliances and maintaining their family's dominance.
Among the arrivals was Yuvaan Singh Chauhan, Adhiraj's younger brother. At 28 and standing at 6'1, Yuvaan carried himself with charm and ease that contrasted sharply with Rudransh's intensity. He walked up to Anushka and gave her a playful wink. "Anushka," he said smoothly, "you look stunning as always."
Anushka laughed lightly but brushed off his compliment. She had no idea about Yuvaan's feelings for her-feelings he kept hidden behind his playful demeanor.
As preparations reached their peak, Anushka found another opportunity to tease her brother. She walked up to him while he adjusted his cufflinks and said mockingly, "Bhaiya, what will you do if Ruchika doesn't show up? Whom you'll have to marry instead!"
Rudransh shot her an icy glare that could silence anyone else-but not Anushka. She laughed at his expression and added, "Relax! I'm sure she'll be here... unless she decides to run away."
Adhiraj chuckled softly from across the room but quickly masked it when Rudransh turned toward him.
"I don't have time for jokes," Rudransh said sharply before walking out of the room.
As evening approached and golden lights illuminated the mansion, Rudransh stood alone on one of the balconies overlooking the estate grounds. Despite his outward calmness, there was an unease brewing within him-a feeling he couldn't quite shake.
This marriage wasn't just a union; it was a strategy-a way to secure power and maintain control over alliances that had been years in the making. But something about Ruchika unsettled him-her silence during their meetings had felt more like resistance than submission.
Rudransh clenched his fists as he stared into the distance. He didn't need love or companionship; what he needed was loyalty-and if Ruchika couldn't provide that...
His thoughts were interrupted by Ashwini calling him from inside. "Rudransh," she said firmly, "it's time."
As Rudransh descended into the grand hall where guests had gathered for the ceremony, whispers began circulating among them-Ruchika Verma was nowhere to be seen.
Ashwini approached Rudransh with concern etched across her face. "She hasn't arrived yet," she whispered urgently.
Rudransh's jaw tightened as anger surged through him. He turned to Adhiraj and said coldly, "Find out what happened."
Minutes felt like hours as tension filled the room. Finally, news arrived-Ruchika had fled with her boyfriend.
The hall erupted into chaos as whispers turned into gasps and murmurs of disbelief.
Rudransh stood at the center of it all like an immovable force amidst a storm. His fury was palpable-his pride wounded beyond repair.
Ashwini tried to calm him down but failed miserably as Rudransh declared loudly, "This wedding will happen tonight."
"But how?" Ashwini asked desperately.
Rudransh turned toward Gungun -the younger sister who had been quietly observing everything from afar-and pointed at her..
"
She will take her sister's place," Rudransh repeated, his voice like a blade slicing through the tension.
Gasps rippled through the crowd, followed by murmurs of disbelief and confusion.
Ashwini clutched her chest. "Rudransh, she's just a child-she has nothing to do with Ruchika's mistake!"
"She carries the same blood," Rudransh growled, his eyes locked on Gungun. "And someone has to pay the price."
Gungun took a trembling step back, her lips quivering. Her voice was barely above a whisper, yet it carried the weight of her entire world. "I... I can't marry you."
Her words, so soft and scared, echoed louder than any scream.
Rudransh's eyes darkened. He stalked toward her slowly, each step deliberate, dangerous. The crowd instinctively parted as if the devil himself walked among them.
"You don't get to say no," he said, his voice a deadly calm. "You'll marry me, Gungun Tonight here now..
Tears welled in her eyes, but she held her ground. "You're angry... hurt. You want revenge, not a wife. I'm not a pawn in your war."
Rudransh leaned in, his face inches from hers, his voice dropping to a whisper meant only for her. "You just became one."
Gungun's breath hitched. She looked around for help, for escape-but there was none. Not in a world ruled by men like Rudransh Singhania.
And just like that, her fate was sealed-not with love, but with fury.
Not with vows of promise... but with vows of vengeance.
