My Little Omega (Taekook)

The Jeon mansion was a whirlwind of noise and love, its big rooms filled with the smell of Seokjin’s cooking and the sound of a certain 6-year-old making trouble. Jungkook, 15 and lanky with messy black hair, was supposed to be at his university class, but he’d rushed back home his sneakers squeaking on the polished floor. He’d forgotten his assignment file—again.
In the kitchen Taehyung, the family’s tiny tornado was causing a mess. His fluffy golden hair bounced as he ran circles around the table, a half-eaten apple in one hand, giggling like he ruled the world. Seokjin frazzled chased after him, his apron flapping.

He called, holding a plate of cut-up veggies and healthy food.

Taehyung squealed ducking under the table.

The front door slammed open and Jungkook burst in out of breath.

He muttered heading for the stairs. But before he could take two steps Taehyung spotted him.
Taehyung yelled zooming out from under the table and launching himself at Jungkook like a missile. He crashed into Jungkook’s legs hugging tight his big eyes sparkling.

Jungkook stumbled but caught himself looking down with a fake frown.

He said but his voice was soft. He tried to pry Taehyung off but the kid clung like a leech.

Taehyung demanded pointing to the plate Seokjin had dropped on the counter in defeat.Seokjin leaned against the counter, catching his breath.

He’s been running around all morning not eating a thing. He’s a bad boy today.
He said but his smile showed he wasn’t really mad.Jungkook sighed picking Taehyung up and plopping him on a chair.

He said grabbing the plate. He sat next to Taehyung scooping up some veggies.
Taehyung grinned opening his mouth big but half the food ended up on his cheeks.

He said, his mouth full bits of carrot falling out.Jungkook chuckled, a rare sound that made Seokjin pause and smile.

Jungkook said wiping Taehyung’s face with a napkin.

He said but when Taehyung’s messy hands grabbed his shirt leaving green smudges Jungkook’s smile didn’t fade.

After Taehyung was full Jungkook stood his shirt a mess.
He said heading to his room. Taehyung slid off the chair following like a shadow his little feet pattering behind.

Taehyung whined grabbing Jungkook’s hand as he pulled a clean shirt from his drawer.Jungkook knelt ruffling Taehyung’s hair.

Taehyung’s lip trembled his eyes filling with tears.

He cried clutching Jungkook’s leg.Jungkook’s face softened but he pried Taehyung off gently.

He said grabbing his file and heading out.Taehyung’s wails echoed as the door closed. Seokjin scooped him up sighing.

He said but Taehyung kept crying calling for Kookie. Seokjin rocked him fed up but patient until Taehyung fell asleep tears on his cheeks exhausted from his tantrum.

That evening the mansion was calmer. Namjoon came home from his office his tie loose and his face tired. He stepped into the living room and chuckled. Jungkook was on the couch a textbook open trying to study while Taehyung sat in his lap playing with a toy car stuck to him like glue.

He said, making everyone laugh.
Late that night the mansion was dark. Jungkook and Taehyung were in the living room playing a silly game with pillows laughing until they were tired. Taehyung climbed onto Jungkook’s chest yawning his plushie still in his hand.

Jungkook asked his voice quiet.
Taehyung mumbled snuggling closer. They fell asleep on the couch Taehyung’s head on Jungkook’s chest Jungkook’s arm around him.
Seokjin peeked inchecking on them. His face softened his heart full.

He whispered pulling a blanket over them. He stood there a moment, admiring how Jungkook so young and tough was so gentle with Taehyung and how Taehyung loved Him like no one else. It was messy loud and perfect—their little family.
