...— • Chapter Three • —...
...Melodies of destiny...
As Yoonah lost herself in her thoughts, she looked up at the starry sky, the sparkling lights providing a feeling of calm among everything. Shadows of the night appeared to be whispered by the quiet rustle of leaves in the light air. Her interaction with the girl felt important, like a puzzle that needed to be solved, and she could not get rid of that sweet scent.
Elijiah, in the meantime, was finished helping her younger brother Rhys. She was still thinking about that mysterious ghost girl, she made her way back to the table along with her younger brother. There was a noticeable sense of tension in the air, and Elijiah couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. Is this place hunted or something, She thought, as she sipped a cold strong wine.
Weeks had passed since that fateful night at the Kazumi residence, and the memory of the mysterious girl with the sweet vanilla fragrance still lingered in Yoonah's mind. The events of that evening had set in motion she knew that all those interactions were putting an act to please people.
At the Kazumi residence, Yoonah was sitting in the garden to have some fresh air in the early morning but her relaxation was always interrupted. All the maids were going all around and some guards were standing near her, she couldn't relax in this state she sighed and just stood up.

...YOONAH'S POV ...
My mind was heavy but I shrugged it off as I took some medicine. All the maids are still following me and I couldn't help speaking up about it
"Can you all not follow me? I'm getting uncomfortable," I looked at the three maids at my back and they looked at each other and just nodded and left me in the hallway. 'Finally, I should get ready'
As I walked towards my room I saw something or someone peeked in some of the rooms. When I got closer there was a little girl hiding behind the door, her clothes were kinda torn out, and she was looking at me. I calmly smiled at her and slowly bent down. "Why is there a pretty girl like you here? Are your parents here? Are you lost?" She didn't speak but only to hide herself, 'Why is a child here?'
"WHO ARE YOU!? AN INTRUDER! GET HER!!" A guy yelled, I stood up and looked him straight in his eyes. "How dare you call me an intruder! Do you know who I am?!," I said.
The man's eyes widened in realization as he recognized Yoonah, his expression quickly shifting from aggression to deference. "uhh My apologies Miss I— I didn't know it was you," he stammered, his voice trembling slightly.
"We are sorry we didn't know." I glanced at him with a serious face, "Why are you guys strolling here in this area?" The man glanced over his shoulder.
"Ah. That's... We are looking for a little girl, she's just a stray we found wandering around the ," he explained, his tone hesitant. "We were told to escort her off the premises." And that I knew they were taking her down below,
"No, I haven't found any kids around this area. You both may leave." They just bowed and apologized again and walked out. 'They killed her parents for sure. I'm not an idiot to know what they meant.. Why is he still doing this' looked back at the girl and told her that it was safe and I wouldn't harm her.
"Don't worry little one. No one will capture you, you are safe with me. Let's go to my room alright?" The little girl seemed hesitant but gladly took my hand as I looked around if someone saw us. I hurriedly went to my bedroom.
Once inside the safety of my bedroom, I closed the door behind them and turned to the little girl with a reassuring smile. "You're safe here," I said softly. "No one will harm you. I promise." The girl's eyes darted around the room, taking in her surroundings with curiosity and trepidation. I could see the uncertainty in her gaze, the lingering fear that had taken root in her heart.
Sensing the girl's unease, I moved to her side and knelt beside her. "What's your name little one?" I asked for gently soothing like a gentle breeze." "And how did you get here?" The girl hesitated for a moment before whispering,
"Umm my name is sakura. I— I got lost here...A—and I umm.. I sas with my mama, when I woke up I was here. I'm here to find her but I s-saw here s-she—" Her voice trembled as she spoke, tears welling up in her eyes. "I— I saw s-some men kicking her and pushing her" she cried. My heart ached as I hugged her and rubbed her back.
"Don't worry little one. I'm here to help. I promise that I'm not like them, I'll find your mother soon. For now your safety is important can you stay here for a while? don't leave this room it's not safe outside" Sakura's eyes widened in surprise, her fear slowly melting away as she looked up at me with newfound hope. At that moment, I knew that I would do whatever it took to protect this innocent girl from the darkness that threatened to consume her.
As I heard her stomach growling I smiled "Hungry aren't you" She blushed out of embarrassment and wiped her tears as she slowly nodded at me. I took the house telephone as I dialed some butler to bring some food to my room. 'I guess I'll go later'

On the opposite side of Tokyo, Elijiah was now at her school, she seemed early today, She found herself in her typical spot, perched upon the school's rooftop. Once again she thought of that ghost girl, picking up her guitar to distract herself from thinking. But still, the scene keeps popping up on her mind.
"Damn it... Why can't I focus." Elijiah spoke as the scene popped into her mind again, but this time she saw those pinkish lips she couldn't think straight is it just a ghost? She was sure it was a ghost. How the hell could that girl disappear in the blink of an eye? As the school bell rings indicating the first class is starting.
Elijiah got up and grabbed her guitar and bag heading downstairs. "Maybe I'll skip my classes for today.. I'm not in the mood to listen anyway" She sighed and headed towards the music room.

...ELIJAH'S POV...
The Music room is closed as I expected. Eyeing the hallway as I took an extra key that I took from the Teacher's office a long time ago, it came out pretty handy. I unlocked the door and slipped inside, the familiar scent of old wood and dust washing over me. The music room had always been my sanctuary, a place where I could escape the pressures of my father's world and lose myself in the melody of my guitar. The door slipped inside, the familiar scent of old wood and dust washing over me.
The music room had always been my sanctuary, a place where I could escape the pressures of my father's world and lose myself in the melody of my guitar. With practiced fingers, I began to strum a simple melody, the notes ringing out clear and true in the quiet room. Music had always been my refuge, a language that spoke to my soul in ways that words never could.
As the melody filled the air, I closed my eyes and let myself be carried away by the music. At that moment, nothing else mattered—not the expectations of my father, nor the whispers of the world outside. All that existed was the sound of my guitar and the rhythm of my heart. But even as I lost myself in the music, my thoughts kept drifting back to the mysterious girl I had encountered weeks ago at the Kazumi residence.
There was something about her that intrigued me, something that drew me to her like a moth to a flame. I could not shake the feeling that our meeting was no mere coincidence, that there was something more to our connection than meeting the eye. And as I played, I couldn't help but wonder what secrets lay hidden beneath the surface, waiting to be uncovered.
Lost in my thoughts, I played on, the music weaving of emotions that echoed to my mind. And as the last notes faded into the room's silence, I knew that my journey was far from over. For as long as the music played, I would keep searching for answers, determined to uncover the truth no matter where it led me. As I play other music. The door opens
Back to the Kazumi's resident Yoonah fed the little girl and cleaned her up putting some decent clothes that she had. While preparing herself, "Excuse me miss, are you going somewhere?" Said Sakura
...YOONAH'S POV...
I looked back at her as I put on my mother's pendant. I paused, glancing back at Sakura with a soft smile. "Yes, I am." I replied, adjusting the pendant around my neck, and feeling its weight against my chest. My mother's pendant.
"I'm going to enroll in a university," I continued, a sense of determination shining in my eyes. It was time for me to take control of my destiny, to carve out a path for myself separate from the shadows of my past. Sakura's eyes widened in surprise, her gaze flickering with concern.
"But Miss yoonah, Is it safe for you to be alone?" she asked, her voice filled with worry. She knew as much as anyone the dangers that lurked in the world outside the safety of my home. I chuckled "Don't worry little one, just call me Ane hm?" Sakura smiled and nodded.
"Sakura. Listen closely, My room is locked so that no one could ever come in. You are safe here. And I want you to stay here so that those men won't find you, if you are ever hungry you can eat those treats and drink plenty of water too, If you ever get bored. I have some painting supplies, you can make me a portrait, When I come back you can show me your art... How does that sound?" I looked at her jumping around as she gladly wanted to make a portrait, I laughed and patted her head "See you Sakura."
"Babye! see you later!" I locked the door as I headed outside,"Good morning to you miss." The driver greeted me as he opened the car's door. "Let's go"
Arriving at the Sovereign University all the students kept glancing at me, 'Is it my hair? Haven't they seen an albino person before' I ignored those seemingly judging eyes, I walked in front of a huge door. This is more like a castle than a school. I sighed and kept walking through the hallways.
"Not gonna lie... This place is actually pretty" I asked some students, where the Principal's office is. As one girl told me it was on the top floor at the end of the hallway, her friend behind her back snickered, I shrugged it off. 'Is it really for real that the principal office is at the toppest floor!?..'
"THE GHOST!!!!' wait what?' As she stumbles from her seat

...ELIJIAH'S POV...
Strumming my worries away as I sensed that someone was watching me I looked at the door and caught the most beautiful ocean eyes. My heart was pounding but then I snapped and looked at her 'What the— THE GHOST FOLLOWED ME HERE!??'
"THE GHOST!!!!" I stumbled on my chair and fell and bumped into my guitar.
"My goodness!! Are you okay?? I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you I just—" she grabbed my hand 'Her hands were so soft like a cotton her hair is silk as her skin is very smooth... Her scent is sweet and like a flower..'
'"Am I dead?" I utter
"what?" She was so confused as I held her hand "I thought that you were a ghost but... You are an angel," I said without thinking 'REALLY ELIJIAH!? What the hell am I saying that was so freaking cringe Ugh!!' I let her hand go as I spoke once again
"I meant you're beautiful uh gorgeous!". "Pft— okay calm down." She stood up and held her hand again,
"The name is Yoonah, what's yours?" 'In my so-called life I have never encountered such a ghost who can talk to me'

...YOONAH'S POV...
I quickly helped her, bending down to her level "My goodness!! Are you okay?? I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you I just—" I held her hand but she seemed shocked and blushing?
"Am I dead?" She just said and I looked at her with a confused look
"What?" She held my hands and looked at me,
"I thought that you were a ghost but... You are an angel," She stared at my eyes as my cheeks heating up, I chuckled at her reaction.
^^^'Well that was unexpectedly cute'^^^
