After the rain comes the storm

Sometime has passed since the incident. I saw my auntie's and my uncle brought you in my little sister mother in her house and my dad went in they locked down for the whole night. When my mom saw that she decided her mind that she's going to move out without my father knowing we pack all the things in a truck, and we head out in the middle of the night. The first night our mom slept with us, there was an any light in the house, so we sleep in complete darkness. As a child, I didn't take things to heart. Me and my brother and our young sister (not the sister from the side chick) went exploring early in the morning.

For the first time we saw hogs, insects and a lot of things that I cannot make mention, but one thing I do know is that I was enjoying our little adventures.

We didn't have much, but we have each other "or so I think". Mother didn't sleep with us the second, she left the six of us to sleep with her boyfriend. We were very young, the oldest was 15 and 13 years old. Second big sister Cherry was more mature than the first, so she took control and play the motherly role.

For many days we had to endure hardship and neglect from our mother. Most times we were very hungry and would have to waited for hours before our mother would come home to prepare dinner for us. Neighbors would notice and feel sorry for us, they would share their meals with us while others would use us to run errands without getting anything in return. It reached a point where our neighbor who lives beside us would haunt us, put dirty magazines through a hole to give while expressing their dirty, twisted thoughts on how they want to treat us.

I'm tired of this! Let's take these and show mom, watch and see what will happen to them, I said to Shanny. Okay!

Later that evening

Looking at the time, it's 7:30 pm, Mom soon reach in. At 8 o'clock mom enter through the gate. I ran to her with the porn page in my hands.

Mom look!

Sandra: What is it? Where did you get this from? She said with a straight face. I couldn't see and disturbance in her face, but, instead... A face that don't reflect concerns.

Sim: I want you to sleep with us, it's not safe for us knowing that perverts lives beside us! Nothing is going to happen, everything is going to be okay, Sandra said. I pleaded with her, and she agreed to sleep with us but later in the night I woke up seeing that our mom was, gone she left us to go and sleep with her boyfriend. For the first time...I experience the word "broken trust" I thought... A mother was supposed to love, cherish and to protect her child/ children, I guess it wasn't meant for us.
