10) Magic Weapons - 2

Simon was lying on the ground battered after getting beaten by Gloria. Though she was standing, she also had many injuries on her.

This continued for another two three weeks. Iris, Nico and Alex were trying to integrate the crystals while Simon and Gloria sparred with each other.

Suddenly Alex's crystal started flying around in the room. Just as he is about to catch it, it escapes his grasp, flying away.

"What's wrong?" Nico and I opened our eyes and saw Alex trying to catch his crystal.

"It suddenly started darting around the room" Alex replied following the crystal.

"Try using your powers to control it Alex" Udonna suddenly appeared in the room.

"Hmm" he nodded and started using his metal telekinesis to pull the crystal towards him. "Phew" Finally it came closer. Just as he was about to hold it, the crystal sped up and entered his palm.

"Keugh!!!" Veins were popping out on his hand.

We all gathered around him after seeing him holding his right hand. Aqua also came and kept blowing bubbles on his palm to ease the pain.

Soon a silver sword appeared in his hands.

"Congratulations Alex it looks like you got a Sword as your weapon." Udonna congratulated him.

"Yeah, I can control it with my thoughts" he said and threw the sword far away, then it turned around and came back to him.

"Simon let's spar" he said suddenly.

"Alright, anyway it's nothing new now" 🙂 he replied.

In the field Simon lunged and fired shots using his laser beam. Alex not to be outdone used his sword's blade to deflect his attacks. Both were focused on attacking each other and defending themselves. One was defending himself against the rain of laser beams fired at him at an exceptionally accurate rate while the other was cutting down the distance between them smoothly like butter. After they both clashed again and were about to continue "Stop both of you. Go and rest now."

They both stopped then nodded and went to their own rooms.

"Ah!!!!" suddenly Nico let out a small scream. We all were shocked to hear Nico reacting as he rarely says anything. As we went near him, we saw his one hand clutching his chest with a frown and the other hand supporting him on the ground.

"Huff" "Huff" he was gasping for breath. Suddenly he whipped his head towards me, looking at me with his eyes filled with flames.

*Gasp* I let out a small gasp as he suddenly came to me and held my hand. Then slowly his hands moved, and he hugged me, burying his head in the crook of my neck.

*Sigh* A pleasant sigh escaped his lips. Seeing this everyone started leaving one by one.

"Hey wait.... at least help me in holding him." I said as I watched them leave.

'He was literally hanging on me."

"Hey Nico come to your senses." I shook him holding his shoulders"

"No" he replied and continued holding me.

I tried to get out of his grip many times but failed.

"Don't move. My heart is hurting."

After waiting for six hours with him wrapped around me like an octopus finally his weapon started to take shape.
