7) Training - 3

It's been two months since the last time there was any fluctuation in the base. Everyone was waiting for Nico and Iris to unlock their powers.

One day when everyone was sleeping except for both of them, all the electric appliances and machines in the base started vibrating. There was a buzzing sound in the air and the alarm was blaring as loud as it could. All of them ran towards the room where Iris and Nico were meditating and saw lightning dancing around her and, Nico was standing not too far from her. Iris was clenching her teeth and letting the lightning flow through her body. Finally, after quite some time she opened her eyes. Nico standing near her was almost mesmerized by the purple sparks in them.

"Quite a strong power you have unlocked dear" said Udonna looking at her.

Iris turned towards her "Yes God mother I'll show you what I can do."

After looking around for a while "Simon come here" she said looking at Simon who was hiding behind Alex. "Noooooo why always meeeee~~." Alex stepped aside and Simon had nowhere to hide. "Come on it will hurt just a little" she said as lightning crackled in her hand. He stepped forward and shut his eyes tightly "Bye guys , I hope you all will remember me." Everyone ignored him and looked towards Iris.

She raised her hand and threw the lightning at him. "Ahhhhh!!!!! " "Stop howling like that you idiot" scolded Gloria. Simon fell on the floor and was looking at us pitifully covered in black soot. "Ahem! Don't worry I just used a bit of energy that won't harm you." He almost cried after hearing her words.

"Oh I have one more power" she said. Simon closed his eyes and pretended to be dead. "You don't have to do anything for this one" explained Iris looking at him. "Let's go outside, we need space for this one." "Stay behind all of you or else you'll get caught up in this" she said as she started gathering lightning with both her hands. After a few long seconds she threw it towards a tree and "BOOM!!!!" there was a huge explosion. She turned around and smiled gorgeously at everyone ☺ "I call it Thunder Bomb and the first one is called Divine Lightning." Simon, Gloria and Alex shivered looking at her smile whereas Nico was staring at her without blinking.

"It's really powerful" said Udonna.

"Ummm can I say something" interrupted Gloria "Can my and Iris's power combine together and create an attack like a..... Storm filled with lightning." Everyone's eyes brightened listening to her. "Nice idea Gloria, let's try it now." They started combining their powers. Gloria started creating a typhoon and Iris started injecting lightning in it. After five minutes they gathered enough energy and released it. Everything in the surroundings was getting sucked inside. Some animals from nearby got caught and died by electric shock. Seeing that it was working they seized their power. "Yay!" they high-fived. "Let's name it" suggested Gloria.

"Hmmmm THUNDER STORM!!!" they said together and laughed.

"It's a good idea to combine powers. You all can try doing it with each other when all of you have unlocked your powers."
