The sun rises over Kageflame Village, casting long shadows across the streets. Team 7—Dan, Riko, and Suki—are summoned by Lady Kaede to the Hokage’s office. Their hearts beat faster than usual today. After their first mission and the encounter with the UUB, they knew their next task could be more dangerous.

They enter the Hokage’s office and bow respectfully. Hokage Kaito sits at his desk, his eyes weary yet determined. The Third Hokage waves them forward.

Hokage Kaito: “Team 7, your next mission is of high priority. It involves a former swordman of the Hidden Mist. His name is Kurokage, and he was once known for wielding the cursed blade, Kiba—a sword capable of cutting through anything with lightning speed.” ⚔️💨

Kaede stares at the Hokage, waiting for more information.

“He’s a rogue shinobi now. We’ve tracked him to the outskirts of the Bloodline Cliffs—a place filled with remnants of past battles. His actions have become erratic, and he’s been using the sword for assassination missions, killing innocent people.” 😡

🚨 Mission Briefing

Hokage Kaito continues:

“You must find him, learn his intentions, and eliminate the threat. This is an A-rank mission, so be prepared. The power of Kiba is not to be underestimated.” ⚡

The team leaves immediately after receiving their gear. Kaede warns them:

“Keep your distance when you face Kurokage. His sword is unlike any weapon you’ve seen.” 😤

🌲 Journey to the Bloodline Cliffs

As Team 7 travels across rugged terrain 🏞️, the sun sets behind them, casting an eerie glow over the land. The cliffs are known for being haunted by past warriors, and a heavy mist lingers in the air.

Riko looks around, his eyes scanning the surroundings. “There’s something off about this place…” 🧐

Suki doesn’t respond, her body tense. She can feel it too. Dan grips his kunai tighter. The atmosphere is thick with danger.

🥷 The Encounter: The Blade of the Mist

They arrive at the Bloodline Cliffs, an area known for fog and mist where old ninja battles were once fought. The air smells faintly of iron—the scent of blood. At the edge of a cliff, they see a shadowed figure standing still, facing them.

Kurokage steps forward, the mist swirling around him. His long, dark hair falls over his face. He’s tall and imposing, with a black cloak flowing in the wind. In his hand, he holds Kiba, a massive sword with jagged edges that seem to crackle with lightning ⚡. The sword’s cursed aura is almost tangible.

Kurokage speaks in a low, menacing tone:

“You should not have come here, young shinobi. Kiba thirsts for blood, and I will be its bearer.” ⚔️

⚔️ The Battle Begins

Dan charges first, throwing a series of kunai to test Kurokage’s defenses. The rogue swordsman swings Kiba, effortlessly cutting the projectiles in mid-air ⚡💥.

Dan: “This won’t be easy!”

He forms hand signs and summons shadow clones to confuse Kurokage. The clones circle around, aiming for the rogue swordsman. But Kurokage’s speed is unmatched—he spins, swinging Kiba in a horizontal arc that destroys the clones instantly. He dashes forward, slashing through the real Dan, sending him crashing into the rocks behind him.

Dan struggles to stand, coughing up blood. He’s injured, but he refuses to fall.

“Is that all you’ve got, Kurokage?” Dan says, his voice strained. He summons lightning chakra to his hands, preparing for another strike.

⚡ Suki’s First Strike

Suki steps forward, her body crackling with chakra-infused energy. She breathes deeply, and the ground around her freezes as she channels her ice release. Her hands glow with blue energy, and she charges toward Kurokage, aiming a punch at his chest.

Kurokage swings Kiba, but Suki’s punch lands with a tremendous impact, sending a shockwave of icy chakra into his chest. His cloak is torn, and his breathing becomes ragged. But Kurokage quickly recovers, his eyes glowing with rage.

Kurokage: “You think your ice can stop me?”

He slashes Kiba downwards, the sword releasing a burst of lightning that strikes the ground beneath Suki’s feet. Suki is blasted back, her body sent crashing into a pile of rocks, blood staining her clothes.

⚡ Riko’s Moment – The Struggle for Strength

Riko, who has been silent throughout the fight, finally steps forward. His Sharingan begins to activate—the first time he’s ever used it in battle. He focuses on Kurokage’s movements, trying to predict his next strike.

Riko: “I won’t let you harm my teammates!”

He charges at Kurokage, moving with blinding speed. But Kurokage counters, swinging Kiba so fast that Riko barely dodges, feeling the heat of the blade graze his cheek. He quickly attempts to land a genjutsu, but the rogue swordsman’s strength overwhelms him.

Riko is struck across the chest by Kiba, sending him flying into the cliffside. His body crashes into the rocks with a sickening thud. He lies motionless for a moment, blood trickling from his wounds.

💀 A Near-Death Moment

Dan, seeing Riko lying unconscious and Suki struggling to get up, knows they’re in deep trouble. His mind races. He summons all of his chakra and rushes toward Kurokage, throwing everything he has into one final, desperate strike.

Dan: “I won’t let my team die!” 💥

With a roar, Dan uses his ultimate technique—a chakra-enhanced Rasengan. He throws it at Kurokage with all his remaining strength. But Kurokage easily deflects it with a single swipe of Kiba ⚡. Dan staggers back, his body on the verge of collapse.

But just before Kurokage can deliver the final blow, Kaede arrives in a flash of speed. She slams Kurokage with a fire-style jutsu, engulfing the swordsman in flames. Kurokage roars in agony as he’s pushed back. The mist clears, and Kaede stands tall, her chest heaving with effort.

👴 The Aftermath

With the rogue swordsman defeated and his cursed blade broken, Kaede turns to Team 7, who are battered and bruised.

“That was reckless,” she says sternly, but there’s a flicker of pride in her eyes. “But you held your ground. You showed courage in the face of death.” 🔥

Hokage Kaito later congratulates them for their bravery.

“You’ve learned the harsh reality of being a shinobi. You almost lost everything today. Remember that feeling. The next time you face a true threat, you will be better prepared.” 🧓🏾
