Chapter 5: The Awakening of the Smace

Rishi’s hand hovered over the ancient weapon. The glow from the engravings pulsed like a heartbeat, as if the Smace was alive, waiting for him to claim it.

His mind raced.

"Is this really mine? Why do I feel drawn to it?"

Kaviraj’s voice was calm but firm. “If you are afraid, walk away now. Once you touch it, your life will never be the same.”

Rishi swallowed. He had lived his whole life without a family, without knowing who he was. This Smace—this weapon—held the answers.

And he wasn’t going to walk away.

Taking a deep breath, Rishi gripped the handle.

The moment his fingers curled around the ancient leather, a surge of energy blasted through him like lightning. His vision blurred, his ears rang, and then—

Visions of the Past

Suddenly, Rishi was somewhere else.

He stood in the middle of a massive battlefield. Armored warriors clashed with monstrous creatures, their weapons igniting the sky with golden light. The ground trembled under their might, the air thick with the cries of battle.

At the center of it all stood a kingly figure wielding the Smace. His presence was overwhelming, radiating a power that made the enemy falter.

And then, the king turned.

His gaze locked onto Rishi, his eyes glowing with fire.

"You have awakened me… my descendant."

Rishi staggered back, but his body wouldn’t move. He couldn’t escape the presence of the warrior before him.

"Who… who are you?" Rishi’s voice trembled.

The king’s lips curled into a knowing smile.

"I am Rajveer, your ancestor… and the spirit bound to the Smace."

The Spirit Within the Smace

Back in the real world, Kaviraj watched as Rishi’s body trembled, his eyes glowing gold. The Smace had accepted him.

But what he didn’t expect was what happened next.

The golden glow turned deep crimson—a dark red hue that spread across the engravings. The Smace transformed before their eyes, no longer golden but now a bloody red weapon, pulsating with raw power.

Kaviraj’s eyes widened. “Impossible… It has taken its true form.”

Rishi gasped, staggering back as the visions faded. He could still hear Rajveer’s voice echoing in his mind.

"Your blood has awakened me. And now… we fight as one."

His head throbbed as his heartbeat synchronized with the Smace’s pulsing energy. He could feel something within him shifting, awakening.

For the first time in his life, Rishi wasn’t just an orphan.

He was a warrior.

And the war had only just begun.
