Episode 5: “Ryder Returns – The First Showcase Match”

Scene opens at the Reality of Wrestling gym. The ring has been rebranded with black and red ropes. Posters hang announcing:

“Rookie Showcase Night – Featuring Special Guest Ryder Velvet!”

The trainees whisper with excitement.

Random Wrestler:

“Ryder Velvet’s actually coming?”

Another:

“She was trained here years ago. She’s like a legend now.”

Backstage – Tiffany & Destiny Locker Room

Tiffany laces her boots with shaking hands.

Tiffany (to herself):

“Don’t freeze. Don’t mess up. Ryder’s going to be here... she’s gonna see me.”

Destiny walks in, looking strong in her ring gear — a bold red and black outfit. Her hair tied up in tight braids.

Destiny:

“You ready, Tiny Titan?”

Tiffany:

“You think she’ll remember the promise?”

Destiny (grinning):

“She better. Or I’ll remind her with a clothesline.”

Training Room – Michael’s Final Prep

Michael:

“Tonight’s your first crowd. Small, sure. But it’s loud. Stay focused. Hit clean. Tell a story. Your match ain’t about winning — it’s about showing heart.”

He hands them their match card:

Tiffany & Destiny Brown vs. The Twins of Terror (Mace & Luna)

Tag Team Showcase Match – 1 Fall to Finish

Audience Fills the Seats

Family, friends, local fans, scouts — and in the back row, wearing sunglasses and a leather jacket…

Ryder Velvet watches silently.

Match Time! – Brown Sisters vs. The Twins of Terror

Announcer:

“Introducing first, from Houston, Texas… Tiffany and Destiny… THE BROWN SISTERS!”

Crowd cheers as they walk down the aisle — Destiny throwing her fists up, Tiffany bouncing with energy.

Match begins. Mace (one of the twins) charges Destiny — she dodges and hits a spinning body slam.

Luna tags in, faster and meaner — starts attacking Tiffany’s legs.

Tiffany takes damage but refuses to give up.

Destiny tags in and goes beast mode, clearing house.

Final tag — Tiffany launches off the second rope with a flying crossbody pin!

Ref:

“ONE! TWO! THREE!”

Bell rings!

The Brown Sisters win!

After the Match – Ryder Approaches

The crowd clears. Ryder Velvet walks to the ring, clapping slowly. Tiffany freezes. Destiny bumps her forward.

Ryder Velvet:

“You did it.”

Tiffany (nervous):

“I… I worked hard. Like you said. You made a promise…”

Ryder:

“Darn right I did.”

She climbs into the ring and raises both their hands.

Ryder Velvet:

“How about I make another promise?”

Tiffany (eyes wide):

“Y-Yeah?”

Ryder (grinning):

“Next month, there’s a women’s invitational in Dallas. You two. Me. Six-woman tag match. Live crowd. Real deal.”

Tiffany (tears welling):

“YES! YES! I’LL DO IT!”

Destiny:

“We’ll make you proud, Coach Velvet.”

Final Scene – That Night

Tiffany pins a new poster on her wall:

“Dallas Invitational – Coming Soon”

And below it, she writes:

"The dream is real. And it just got BIGGER."

Narrator (voiceover):

They trained. They fought. And now, they rise.

Text on screen:

“Next Time: Dallas Invitational – The Ring of Fire Awaits!”
