Scene opens in the family kitchen. Morning sunlight streams through the window. A clock ticks—6:45 AM.

FAITH, in a cozy robe, rocks Noah in her arms. She’s got sleep in her eyes, but she’s smiling. The smell of pancakes fills the air.

MICHAEL, dressed for work in a suit, is flipping pancakes while sipping coffee.

MICHAEL:

You were up all night again?

FAITH (yawning):

Noah wouldn’t sleep unless I was holding him. He’s clingy already—just like his dad.

They both laugh.

Upstairs — Girls’ Room

ELIZABETH is tying her hair in a ponytail. PRINCESS is playing with her doll.

PRINCESS:

When will Noah be big enough to play with us?

ELIZABETH:

Not for a while. He’s still like… a potato. A cute potato.

PRINCESS (giggling):

I love potato Noah.

Downstairs – Breakfast Table

The family sits together.

Michael hands Elizabeth her lunchbox.

Princess pours syrup all over her pancakes (way too much).

Noah starts crying suddenly.

FAITH:

Again?

She picks him up, bouncing gently.

MICHAEL (checking watch):

I gotta run, babe. I have that meeting at 9.

He kisses Faith on the cheek, rubs Noah’s head, and high-fives the girls.

Midday – At Home with Faith and Noah

Montage of life with a newborn:

Faith trying to nap but Noah cries.

Changing diapers (lots of them).

Faith scrolling through “New Moms of NYC” Facebook group.

Noah’s first smile — and Faith tearing up.

FAITH (to Noah):

You smiled at me… you little heart thief.

After School – The Girls Return

ELIZABETH:

Mom! I got an A in Science!

PRINCESS:

I colored the best unicorn today!

FAITH (excited but tired):

That’s amazing! Tell me everything while I nurse your brother.

They sit around Faith while she feeds Noah. It’s a cozy moment.

Evening – Daddy’s Home

MICHAEL returns home tired, drops his bag, and walks into a loud house.

Princess is jumping on the couch.

Elizabeth is doing homework with headphones in.

Noah is screaming.

He walks to Faith, who’s in the kitchen reheating dinner.

MICHAEL (softly):

Need help?

FAITH (without turning):

Always.

He walks over and hugs her from behind.

Closing Scene – Family Bonding

The whole family is on the couch.

Elizabeth reads aloud from a book.

Princess draws a crayon picture of their family — with Noah in the middle.

Michael has Noah on his chest again, slowly falling asleep.

Faith sips tea and watches them all, finally breathing.

FAITH (voice-over):

“We’re learning. We’re growing. It’s messy, loud, and so full of love. This is our life — and it’s beautiful.”

FAITH (calling upstairs):

Noah! If you’re late for that exam, don’t come back home!

School – Math Exam

Noah sits at his desk, fidgeting. The exam paper lands in front of him.

He stares at it… blank. Numbers look like alien symbols.

He scribbles down guesses. Time passes. Bell rings.

Later – Results Day

Noah opens the folded paper slowly.

Math: 36%

He sighs. A knot forms in his stomach.

Evening – At Home

Faith is reading his result. Her eyes widen in disbelief.

FAITH:

Thirty-six?! Are you joking?!

Noah… I swear, fail one more time—your phone, your laptop, and your PlayStation—gone!

NOAH:

Mom… chill. It’s not that deep.

FAITH (angrily):

Oh, it’s deep. It’s deep like the hole you’re digging for your future!

MICHAEL (calm but stern):

That’s enough, Faith. Let’s not explode. Noah… go upstairs.

Noah storms upstairs, slams the door behind him.

Elizabeth’s Storyline

Later, Elizabeth sits in her room, swiping through dating profiles.

ELIZABETH (to herself):

Ugh. Where are the normal men?

She sighs and deletes the app.

Princess’ Storyline

Princess rocks PJ to sleep. She kisses her forehead and whispers:

PRINCESS:

It’s just me and you, baby girl. Always has been.

She looks at an old photo of her and her ex — a memory from 10 years ago — then sighs and shuts her laptop to continue studying for college.

Back to Noah – Upstairs

Noah sits on his bed, laptop in front of him. The room is quiet. He opens a design program. A blank canvas waits.

He begins sketching… fast, with energy.

Designs start to appear:

Cool streetwear hoodie concepts

Logos with his name “Noah X”

Sneaker designs with bold colors

T-shirt prints with anime characters and deep quotes like: “Silence speaks louder than noise.”

Hours pass.

The clock reads 2:13 AM.

NOAH (to himself, quietly):

Maybe… I’m not stupid. Just not built for books.

He saves his designs in a folder: "Dream Mode ON"

Closing Scene

Downstairs, Faith walks past Noah’s room and hears silence. She peeks in — Noah is asleep at his desk, laptop still glowing, a design of a fiery red hoodie on the screen.

She walks in, sees the screen, and pauses.

Her anger softens.

FAITH (whispering):

So this is what you’ve been hiding…

She gently pulls a blanket over him.

Narration (by Faith):

“Maybe he’s not failing… maybe he’s just finding his way — a different way.”

FADE OUT.
