We were going to attend the blue moon pack's party for peace and harmony whatever they like to call it . I was attending it because ..... My mother the luna queen ordered me to . Another reason was because I could use this gathering to find my mate . My wolf was on cloud nine when my dad said my chances of finding my mate was 100 %if she had a pact and not a rogue or a lone wolf. Well I really hoped she had a pack not that I would hate her if she didn't but I would be able to find her soon . I was 20 years now and to be able to take over my dad's position , I needed my mate and my pack ,' the royal pack's approval '. Which wouldn't be that hard , after all my wolf was way stronger than my dad's when he was of my age .My dad was strict with me after all an only child with huge responsibility not that I hate it . I am an workaholic and a fighter since young . I had authorities and took half my father's duties after all he needs his rest .My mom used to be a lone wolf because her pack got attacked by a group of rogues and after she met my dad , she followed to be the luna queen . She is very daring and p smart .

When I was staring at the window a certain smell attracted me and my wolf . Although the smell was faint but it was attractive vanilla that I could smell for my whole life , I thought to myself. My wolf, Asher , began to growl , " MATE , I can smell her ". I was shocked and excited . I saw my parent's expression, although I couldn't pay much attention, I wanted her , needed her , I ordered them to stop the carriage and went towards the direction of my mate's scent , more like I ran towards it , ignoring my parent's words and inquiring of the guards and my pack members. When her scent became thinner , I transformed into my wolf after all compared to me ,my wolf could catch her way quicker as werewolves our senses are stronger in our wolf form rather than our human form , it's far stronger. My wolf was large even larger than a normal alpha maybe I was their king . My furr was black which made me look intimidating and my blood shot red eyes made my enemy frightened at my mear sight .I ran towards the direction. I led out a huge growl hopping it could be heard by her and it would make her stop in her tracts but it didn't and with her scent being everywhere, in the woods which added to the confusion, I stop in my tract and tried to focus on the scent hopping I would know which way she went . A sudden roar caught my attention . I knew only one wolf would roar like that, my father . I looked behind of me to see a large black wolf which was glaring me with it's golden eyes.

His wolf although is as powerful as mine but being immune to sliver and wolfsbane ( a drug which can kill most wolves ) which gave me a huge advantage, which is only known to my pack .My dad shifted back " Shift back" he said with a glare . I did as I was told . I knew mistake and deeply regretted it so without giving him a chance , " I know I neligted my duties towards my pack and my alpha ,it won't happen again " I said with a bow. He looked at me for a couple of seconds and signed. " Mind explaining yourself "he responded.I hurriedly clarified myself and after finishing the explanation my mother had arrived there giggling. She spoke " love you can't blame him , he was doing the same thing as you did , neglecting duties to find your mate " . Father couldn't argue more and left leaving behind his mate and his son . I mouthed 'thank you ' . She smiled and we both followed back . Both my parents assured me that I will find her there. My wolf was very happy about this and so was I . The question did arise which one of us the happiest me or my wolf .
