After Lunch :

Well, the thing is, Mrs. Min didn’t mention anything during lunch. So now, they are all sitting in the living room… Let’s see how this unfolds.

Mrs.Min - Mrs. Min (clearing her throat, trying to sound casual)-"So… girls, there’s something I need to tell you."

Hye-Rin (scrolling through her phone, uninterested)- "Hmm? What is it, Mom?"

YN (leaning back, arms crossed)- "Let me guess. You’re finally confessing that you regret throwing me out?"

Mrs. Min (fake chuckle)- "Oh, YN, always so dramatic. No, it’s about someone special… my boyfriend."

Hye-Rin (suddenly paying attention)- "Wait, WHAT?! You have a boyfriend?!"

YN (mock gasp)- "Oh no, how shocking! A woman like you finding another rich guy? Who would've thought?"

Mrs. Min (ignoring YN’s sarcasm)- "He’s a businessman. Very powerful, very influential. And well… he wants to meet you both."

Hye-Rin (eyes sparkling)- "Wait, is he rich?"

Mrs. Min (smiling)- "Of course, darling. He’s one of the top businessmen in Korea."

Hye-Rin (excited)- "Oh my God, Mom! That’s amazing! So… does he have, like, a son?"

YN (rolling her eyes)- "Of course, that’s what you’d be interested in."

Mrs. Min (smiling nervously)- "YN, I know you’re skeptical, but please, just meet him. He really wants to see you."

YN (smirking)- "I’ll meet him, sure. But let’s get one thing straight—this little ‘family act’ won’t change anything."

As YN was about to leave, Mrs. Min stopped her and said,

Mrs. Min- "We are going to meet him this evening. Be there by 6:30 sharp. I’ll send you the address."

YN left without saying a word and headed back to her mansion. Time passed quickly, and soon, evening arrived.

YN noticed it was already 6:00, and she needed to be there by 6:30. So, she decided to get ready.

YN’s POV

I reached there exactly at 6:30, but my dear mother and sister (insert sarcastic tone) are still nowhere to be seen.

Say whatever you want, but damn… this mansion is absolutely stunning. I actually like it.

The Mansion -

Soon, Mrs. Min and Hye-Rin also arrived.

After reaching there, Mrs. Min knocked on the door. A few seconds later, it opened, and an older man—but damn, a handsome one—stood in front of us.

He hugged Mrs. Min and kissed her. YN looked away, feeling disgusted, while Hye-Rin kept staring at them.

Soon, Mr. Kim realized that YN and Hye-Rin were also there.

Hye-Rin- "Appa, you’re so handsome~" (in a cringy, weird voice)

Mr. Kim- "Oh, thank you, dear. You also look pretty." (He said awkwardly.)

Then, Mr. Kim looked at YN.

YN- "Hello, Mr. Kim. Nice to meet you." (She bowed.)

Mr. Kim- "Hello, princess, nice to meet you too. By the way, you can call me Appa."

YN- "Sure, Mr. Kim. But I’ll call you Appa when I feel comfortable with it. I’m sorry if that disappoints you." (She bowed again.)

Mr. Kim smiled at YN. "It’s okay, princess."

Somewhere deep inside, Mr. Kim felt his heart melt. The respect YN was showing him… He had always been respected, but something about her manners touched him in a different way. How could a girl who had lived alone for so long still carry such grace, discipline, and respect?

Yeah, Mr. Kim already knew that YN had returned from Italy and that she was sent there after Mr. Min’s death. He wasn’t unaware of her past—he knew the circumstances, the betrayal, and the way she was abandoned. But seeing her now, standing with such poise and confidence, he couldn’t help but admire her.

Despite everything, she carried herself with grace, something that didn’t go unnoticed by him.

Mr. Kim gestured for them to step inside. The living room was grand, just as one would expect from someone of his status. They all took their seats, and a quiet tension filled the air.

Mr. Kim then turned to his butler.

Mr. Kim- "Mr. Choi, please call them down." (Referring to his sons.)

Mr. Choi- "Sure, Mr. Kim." (He bowed slightly before leaving to summon them.)

YN leaned back on the couch, her expression unreadable. She had a feeling this meeting was about to get interesting.

Hye-Rin- "Mumma, who is Appa talking about?"

Mrs. Min- "Your soon-to-be brothers, darling."

Hye-Rin- (gasps dramatically) "Why didn’t you tell me about this before?"

Mrs. Min- "It was a surprise." (She smiled, clearly pleased with her dramatic reaction.)

Hye-Rin- (claps excitedly) "Omooo! I’m so happy! I’m going to have brothers! But… how many, Mom?"

Mrs. Min- (with a smirk) "Seven."

YN, who was silently listening, scoffed internally. 'Great, just what I needed... more chaos.' She already knew who they were—after all, they weren’t just any ordinary people.
