Mia: Alex,are you okay?Do you remember anything?

Alex shook his head, feeling a wave of panic wash over him.

Alex:I......I don't remember anything. Who am I?where am I?.... And who are you?...

Kai's expression was grim.

Kai: You're Alex, and you're a supernatural hunter. You've been infected with supernatural energy, and we had to make a deal with the"KEEPER OF THE BALANCE". And Mia is your girlfriend and I'm your best friend.

Alex's eyes widened in shock.

Alex:A deal?what kind of deal?

Mia hesitated.

Mia:You had to give up your memories, Alex. The Keeper took them in exchange for saving your life.

Alex stumbled backward, feeling like he'd been punched in the gut.

Alex:My memories... they're gone?

Kai nodded.

Kai: We'll help you, Alex. We'll help you regain your memories and adjust to your new life.

But Alex was already feeling overwhelmed. He stumbled out of the cottage, onto the bright sunlight.

Everything felt new and unfamiliar. He didn't know who he was and where he belonged.

As he walked,he stumbled upon a small leather-bound book. It was his journal, filled with secrets,notes and sketches.

Alex's eyes skimmed and scanned through the book,hoping to find some clue about his past. But everything seemed foreign to him.

Suddenly,a name caught his eye;"Sabine"as he tried to remember anything about her. But his mind was a complete blank.

He decided to ask Mia and Kai if they knew anything about Sabine. As he entered the cottage, Mia and Kai looked up from their conversation.

Mia: Babe, how are you feeling?

Alex:I'm okay,I guess. I found this journal, and there's a name in it: "Sabine". Do either of you know who that is?

Kai's expression turned serious.

Kai: Sabine.... that's a name from your past, Alex. She important to you,then.

Alex's eyes narrowed.

Alex:What do you mean? Who was she?

Mia hesitated.

Mia:We are not entirely sure, Alex. You never talked much about your past. But we do know that Sabine was someone you cared about deeply.

Alex's mind was racing with questions. Who was Sabine? What happened to her?He knew he had to find out more.

Alex decided to start searching for answers about Sabine. He began by flipping through his journal, looking for any other mentions of her.

As he searched,he found a new cryptic notes and sketches,but nothing that really gave him any clues about who Sabine was or what had happened to her.

Undeterred, Alex decided to ask around town, hoping that someone might know about Sabine.

He spent the rest of the day talking to the locals,but no one seemed to know anything about a person named Sabine.

As the sun began to set, Alex returned back to the cottage, feeling frustrated, defeated and weak......
