Kai: Alex, your eyes... they're glowing.

Mia: What's happening to you?

Alex's eyes widened in horror as he realized that he was changing.

Alex stumbled backward, his eyes fixed on his reflection in a nearby window.

His eyes were glowing with an otherworldly light, and his skin was taking on a faintly supernatural sheen.

Kai and Mia rushed to his side, concern etched on their faces.

Kai: Alex, what's happening to you?

Mia:Is this because of the stake? Did it do something to you?

Alex shook his head, trying to clear the fog.

Finally, they arrived at a small, unassuming cottage on the outskirts of the town.

Mia pushed open the door, reveling a cozy interior filled with strange and exotic artifacts.

Mia: Welcome to one of my homes, Alex.We'll figure out what's going on with you, and find a way to reverse it.

As Mia rummage through her shelves, searching for a cure, Alex couldn't shake the feeling that he was losing himself to this newfound power.

Kai placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

Kai: We'll get through this, Alex.Together.

But as Alex looked into Kai's eyes,he saw a flicker of doubt.

One night,as they sat around the fire, Alex's eyes suddenly snapped open,and he let out a big blood-curdling scream.

Mia and Kai rushed to his side,trying to calm him down.

Mia:Alex, what's wrong?what did you see?

Alex's eyes were wild and unfocused.

Alex:I saw....I saw the city burning. I saw people screaming and running.And I saw myself ..., standing in the middle of it all, laughing.

Kai's face was grim.

Kai:We need to find a way to stop this, Mia.Before it's too late.

Mia nodded.

Mia:I think I know what we need to do.But it's going to be risky.

Alex's eyes flickered towards hers.
