As Jasmine spoke,Alex appeared in the doorway, his eyes fixed on Jasmine.

Alex: Jasmine, what are you doing here?

Jasmine smile returned, and she turned to face Alex.

Jasmine:I came to see you, Alex.To see if you're still as foolish as u were all those years ago.

Alex's eyes narrowed.

Alex:What do you want, Jasmine?

Jasmine chuckled.

Jasmine:Oh,I want so many things, Alex.But most of all,I want you to pay for what you did to me.

As Jasmine spoke,Mia realized that she was in grave danger.Jasmine was a powerful vampire, and she would stop at nothing to get what she wanted. Alex eyes flashed with anger, but he kept his cool.

Alex: Jasmine I've told you before. I'm sorry for what happened between us. But I won't be threatened or intimidated by you.

Jasmine's smile grew wider.

Jasmine:Oh, I'm not threatening you, Alex. I'm just stating facts. You see, I've been watching you, and I know all about your little human friend.

Mia's eyes widened in fear,as Jasmine's gaze flicked to her.

Jasmine: Yes I know all about Mia. And I must say, she's quite...... fragile.

Alex's eyes narrowed, and he took a step forward.

Alex: leave her alone, Jasmine,she has nothing to do with this.

Jasmine chuckled.

Jasmine: oh but she has everything to do with this, Alex. You see, I've discovered that Mia is ...... special.

Mia's eyes darted to Alex, who was watching Jasmine, with a mixture of confusion and concern.

Jasmine: yes Mia is a certain.... quality that makes her very valuable to our kind.

As Jasmine spoke,Kai appeared in the doorway ,his eyes fixed on Jasmine.

Kai: Jasmine, What are you talking about?

Jasmine's smile grow wider.

Jasmine: why, Kai. I'm talking about the fact that Mia is a........ BLOOD ROSE 🌹.

Mia's eyes widened in shock as Alex and Kai exchanged a stuned glance. Jasmine's eyes gleamed with excitement and exhilaration as she gazed at Mia.

Jasmine:Yes,a BLOOD ROSE 🌹.A human with the rare ability to produce blood that's.... intoxicating to our kind.

Mia's eyes eyes widened with fear as she took a step back.

Mia: What do you mean??

Jasmine's smile grew wider.

Jasmine:I mean that your blood is like a rare wine, Mia. it's coveted by your kind, and those who posses it are highly valued.

Alex eyes narrowed, his face dark with concern.

Alex: Jasmine, what are you planning?

Jasmine chuckled.

Jasmine:Oh,Alex.Im not planning anything...my love....... not yet.But I'm sure that once the council finds out about Mia's....unique gift, they'll be very interested in meeting her.

Kai stepped forward, his eyes flashing........
