And with that, Jasmine vanished into the thin air, leaving the three of them staring after her in shock. as they stood frozen in shock ,Kai was the first to break the silence.

Kai:Well, that was fun.I think we can safely say that Jasmine is not a fan of yours,Mia.

Mia's eyes were wide with fear, but Alex quickly wrapped his arms around her, holding her close.

Alex: I'm sorry for dragging you into this, but don't worry, Mia, I won't let anything happen to you.

Kai nodded in agreement.

Kai: Yeah, will keep you safe. But we need to get out of here, now.

As they quickly made their way back to Alex's car, Mia couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched.

Mia: Who is Jasmine? And what does she want.

Kai hesitated before answering.

Kai: Jasmine is..... complicated. She's a vampire, like Alex, but she's got her own agenda.

Alex's eyes narrowed.

Alex: Kai, don't.

Kai held up his hand.

Kai: Sorry, Alex.I don't mean to spill any secrets.

Mia's eyes darted between Kai and Alex.

Mia: What secrets???

Alex sighed.

Alex: Jasmine and I .....we have a history. A long time ago,we were..... together.

Mia's eyes widened in surprise.

Mia: You were in a relationship with her?

Alex nodded.

Alex:Yes. But it was a long time ago.And it ended badly.

Kai jumped in.

Kai: That's an understatement. Jasmine was..... obsessive.And when Alex ended things with her, she didn't take it well.

Mia's eyes were filled with concern.

Mia: what did she do?

Alex's expression hardened.

Alex: she tried to kill me.

As they arrived at Alex's car, Mia's eyes were wide with fear.

Mia:We need to get out of here, now.

And with that, they sped away into the night, leaving Jasmine and her secrets behind. As they drove away from the scene, Mia couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched, she kept looking over her shoulder, expecting to see Jasmine's angry face staring back at her.

Alex noticed her unease and placed a reassuring hand on her thigh.

Alex: we are safe now, Mia. Jasmine won't hurt us.

Mia nodded, but she wasn't convinced. She knew that Jasmine was a vampire and that she had a history with Alex. Kai who was sitting in the back seat, spoke up.

Kai:We need to get Mia somewhere safe. Somewhere Jasmine can't find her.

Alex nodded in agreement.

Alex: I know just the place.

He drove them to a secluded mansion on the outskirts of town. The mansion was surrounded by high walls and gathered by two burly men. Mia's eyes widened as they drove to the gates.

Mia:Where are we?

Alex smiled.

Alex: This is my home. You'll be safe here.....
