Aashi's P.O.V~

People says life can be very unpredictable sometimes, but for me, it is unpredictable every time. I feel like laughing at myself, what life am I even living? Honestly I just want to run away from here and live a peaceful life away from my family and everyone else.

I was busy with my own thoughts when I heard Aniket calling me. He is my little brother. Among from my two siblings He is the one I love and treat like my child and the other one is my sister who is one year younger than me Radhika and Aniket is the youngest child. He is 5 years younger than me.

I was sitting on the sofa of my room when, he came inside,

..."Dii Dad's calling you downstairs." he said looking in my eyes. And this is actually very irritating, my parents considers me useless, annoying, rule breaker and that's the reason whenever they try to approach me it is just to warm me to not create any mess....

"And for what is wants me to be there?" I asked in a low voice.

"I don't have any idea he even called Radhika. It might be something important." he said and say next to me with a cute face.

"What do you need?" I asked looking at him with curiosity.

"When did I say I need something?" he said with surprise evident on his face.

"I am your elder sister and I can understand each and everything expression of yours." I replied smiling at him.

He showed me a cheeky smile" Actually I want to go on my college trip, and dad says I can go anywhere, but he isn't going to pay so" he said while looking at me with his baby eyes.

"How much Do they ask for?" I asked

"70,000" he answered.

For me Ani's happiness is the most precious thing I took out my phone and transferred the money to him.

"Di you transferred the money!" he said with a happy face, and before I could say anything he hugged me tightly.

"I love u so much di!" he said

"I love u more." I replied with a huge smile.

When Suddenly We heard Dad's voice. And by the way he was speaking I knew he was dead serious about something. I told Ani to stay in his room to avoid any dramas and went downstairs.

As soon as I reached the lobby, I saw mom and dad sitting on the sofa and Radhika was standing behind them and as soon as I entered dad cleared his throat,

"Have a seat." he told while pointing towards the empty seat in front of him.

I sat there without any argument not wanting to spoil my mood today.

"Why did you call me here?" I asked not interested in whatever the thing was.

"We are here for a family talk Aashi, at least show some interest!" my mom spoke in between disappointed clearly evident in her voice.

I laughed a little,

"why did you laugh?" my dad asked looking into my eyes.

"Because mom cracked a joke." I replied still looking at him, I knew I was getting on his nerves, but that's not my fault.

"What joke was it?" he asked in a low voice.

"She said we are here for a family talk,, and since when do you guys include me in your family? I replied in a cold voice.

They never discuss anything with me, they never asks me anything, they never talk with me so what kind of family talk are they expecting from me?

"I don't want to talk about this nonsense here, I just wanted to tell this to everyone and that's it, Tomorrow Mr. Mehra and his family is visiting us at our home and this is really very important I don't want mistakes." he said and I didn't respond him this time because saying something to him is a complete waste.

"Dad Mr. Mehra is the richest business Tycoon right?" This time Radhika asked

"Yep, his wife and his two sons will he here Tomorrow and luckily if he likes our family he will get his eldest son engaged with you." Dad spoke while looking from me to Radhika.

It was obvious, I was the eldest daughter and according to the Indian society I am the one to get marry first but really thankful to my so-called parents to not force me. Honestly they don't care, They want Radhika to marry a rich, handsome and well settled man who can take care of her. And i really don't want this marriage drama, so it didn't affect me a bit.

I stood up from my seat knowing this was all he wanted to say.

"Don't you think Aashi should get married first." Mom spoke this time, and I was surprised that she thought of it. But before I could say anything

Dad spoke,

"Radhika is my life Rashi, And I want the best for her and for Aashi, She can see for herself. She's not a child."

I wanted to avoid this, but it made me angry, it made be felt hurt

"Right! Your favourite daughter should be the one cared here." I said in a cold voice , And left the room leaving them with their mouths shut........
