The hostel was bustling with excitement. Unlike regular days, the air buzzed with chatter and laughter. Girls were rushing around, makeup kits in hand, excitedly discussing their outfits. The corridors echoed with joyful squeals and hurried footsteps.

Wrapped under her cozy blanket, anvi stirred as the noise seeped through the walls. With half-opened eyes, she groaned.

anvi "Ugh! What is happening? Why is there so much noise?! It's way too early for this!"

She buried her face into the pillow, trying to shut out the world.

But the voices outside only grew louder. Unable to ignore it any longer, she dramatically tossed the pillow aside.

anvi "This is ridiculous! Why can't people let me sleep in peace?"

anvi : (Groaning, covering her face with a pillow) "Ugh! What's with all this noise? Who in their right mind makes such a racket so early in the morning?"

(She attempts to block out the sound, but the chatter only grows louder. Frustrated, she grumbles and buries herself deeper into her blankets.)

anvi : "Why can't people just let me sleep in peace?" 😭

Just then, the door swung open with a bang.

Anu: "anvi ! Wake up! Do you know what time it is? Everyone is already up and getting ready!" 😱

anvi "Hmm... Just five more minutes!" 😴

Anu rolled her eyes, visibly frustrated.

Anu: "Five minutes? That’s what you said twenty minutes ago! Get up, lazy head!" 😡

But anvi stayed put, clutching her blanket tightly.

💅 The Excitement Continues

Anu tried everything - pleading, shaking her, even dramatically flopping onto the bed. Nothing worked until she finally shouted:

Anu: " anvi, THE ayansh AYAANSH KAPOOR is coming!" 😮✨

That did it. anvi peeked out, her eyes narrowed.

anvi: "So what? Why is everyone acting like it's a national holiday?" 🙄

(She shakes anvi, who groans dramatically.)

Anu: "Come on! Everyone's awake, getting ready! Some girls are even heading to the salon!" 💅✨

anvi: (Peeking through one eye) "Salon? For what? It's just a college function. What's the big deal?"

Anu: (Hands on hips) "Just a college function? You seriously have no idea, do you?"

Before Anu could respond, their friend Mahi twirled into the room, dazzling in a shimmering blue saree.

(Just then, Mahi enters, looking stunning in a blue saree, with perfect curls cascading down her shoulders.)

anvi & Anu: (Whistling playfully) "Ooh la la!"

Mahi: (Blushing) "Stop it, you two!"

Anu: "Mahi, you look like a total diva! What's the occasion?"

Mahi: (Dreamily) "Because he's coming. The one and only, Ayansh Kapoor! The CEO of Kapoor Group!

"Girls, today is the day! Our college function’s chief guest is the one and only Ayaan Kapoor! Tall, dark, handsome - he’s like a dream!"

Anu and Mahi sighed dramatically, lost in thought. Meanwhile, anvi smirked.

anvi "Oh please! He's just a businessman. No big deal!" 😒

Anu: "Says the girl who can't stop arguing about how 'arrogant' he is!" 😜

anvi: (Rolling her eyes) "Oh please, not this Ayansh Kapoor fan club nonsense again."

Mahi: "Ugh, you're ir because you're not mean we can't fangirl! `ible, anvi! Just ted in him doesn't mean we can't fangirl!" 🤣

Anu: "Yeah! Every time we mention his name, you act like someone's forced you to watch a horror movie." 😅

anvi: "I don't care about your 'Love God Kapoor.' Seriously, you all need help." 🙄

Mahi: (Laughing) "Fine, stay in your grumpy bubble. But mark my words, when you see him, even you won't be able to resist his charm."

anvi: "Ha! Not in this lifetime."

(She storms off to the bathroom, dramatically rolling her eyes, while Anu and Mahi giggle.)

Anu: "This girl will never change!" 😉

Mahi: "But guess what? Ayansh Kapoor is about to make an unforgettable entrance. Let's see if she can keep that grumpy act up!" 🤪

💄 Getting Ready

Despite her protests, anvi finally got up and picked out a black saree. She accessorized with silver earrings, matching bangles, and a delicate bindi. With her kohl-lined eyes and soft makeup, she looked stunning.

As she descended the stairs, both Anu and Mahi gasped.

Anu: "Girl, you’re a showstopper!" 😍

Mahi: "If Ayaan doesn’t notice you today, he must be blind!" 😂

anvi "Oh, please! I'm just here for the function. No interest in that Mr. Arrogant!"

But was she really uninterested? Or was there something more to her irritation?
