NID hostel
The hostel was buzzing with excitement. Students were thrilled because a major announcement had just been made—next week, at the college’s freshers' party, none other than the country’s most famous business tycoon, Ayash Kapoor, would be the chief guest.
As soon as the news spread, a wave of gossip took over the campus. From classrooms to the cafeteria, only one name was on everyone's lips—Ayansh Kapoor.
"Did you hear? Ayansh Kapoor is coming!"
"You mean THE Ayaan Kapoor? The CEO of Kapoor Group? OMG!"
"I heard he's super handsome and charming!"
"Ugh, his personality is just perfect!"
Girls were ecstatic. They rushed to book parlors, choose the best outfits, and scroll through his old interviews and pictures on social media.
But in the midst of all this excitement, Anvi's reaction was completely different. Watching her friends get overly excited, she rolled her eyes and muttered,
"Seriously? It’s just a guy! Why is everyone acting like some superstar is coming?"
Her friend Anu, a die-hard Ayaan fan, immediately shot back,
"You won’t understand, Anvi. Ayaan is not just a businessman—he’s an icon! His personality, his charm… everything about him is special!"
Mahi grinned,
"Mark my words, Anvi. Once he steps on stage, you won’t be able to take your eyes off him either!"
Anvi scoffed, dismissing their words as she walked away,
"I don’t see anything special about him. Let’s see what the big deal is about this Ayaan Kapoor!"
The Hostel’s Excitement and Anvi’s Annoyance
The news of Ayaan’s visit spread like wildfire. Girls started planning their outfits, makeup, and everything to look their absolute best.
Even in Anvi’s room, the atmosphere was no different. Her closest friends, Ragini and Mahi, were completely lost in thoughts of Ayansh.
Ragini: "Oh my God! Ayaan Kapoor! He’s actually coming to our college. Did you see his latest interview? He looked absolutely stunning!"
Mahi: "I know, right? He’s so handsome, so charismatic! His eyes could make anyone swoon. I’m just waiting to see his smile!"
Listening to this, Anvi threw a pillow on her bed and groaned.
Anvi: "Ugh! Enough, you two! What’s so great about him? Everyone is acting like he’s some divine entity!"
Mahi: "Oh, come on, Anvi! Why are you so annoyed? Do you have some personal grudge against him?"
Ragini: "Yeah! Every time we mention his name, you react like someone just insulted you. What's the deal?"
Anvi (annoyed): "I have no problem with him. I just hate all this over-the-top hype. That’s it!"
Anu’s Question and Anvi’s Flashback
Anu, always the playful one, smirked and teased,
"Be honest, Anvi… Did you have a crush on Ayaan once, and he ignored you?"
Anvi immediately snapped,
"Nonsense! I hate him. That’s all."
But as she said this, a rush of memories flooded her mind.
Flashback:
Anvi and Ayansh’s first clash
It happened a few months ago.
Ayansh had come to Anvi’s city for a business meeting. Their first encounter was purely accidental.
Anvi, rushing somewhere, bumped into someone, spilling her coffee all over a crisp white shirt. She gasped in shock, only to look up and find Ayansh Kapoor, staring at her with pure irritation.
,
Ayansh (annoyed): "Are you blind? What the hell did you just do?"
Anvi (angrily): "Oh, so now it’s my fault? You were the one who came in my way!"
Ayansh (mocking): "Looks like someone never learned how to apologize."
Anvi (crossing her arms): "And you clearly don’t know how to talk to people! Just because you're rich and famous doesn’t mean you can intimidate me."
Their heated argument caught the attention of bystanders. Anvi ended up calling him an "overrated businessman," while Ayansh dismissed her as an "overconfident but rude girl."
That was their first clash.
But not the last.
Flashback: The Charity Event
A year ago, Ayaan was the chief guest at a charity event, and Anvi had volunteered as an organizer.
She was so busy with preparations that she didn’t even realize when Ayansh arrived.
As he walked around inspecting the arrangements, fate decided to play another trick—Anvi accidentally bumped into him again!
This time, she was holding a tray of water glasses, which toppled over, drenching his expensive shoes.
Ayansh looked down, then back at her, eyes filled with irritation.
Ayansh (sarcastically): "Is this a habit? Or is this your way of getting attention?"
Anvi (flustered but annoyed): "Excuse me? I have better things to do than seek YOUR attention!"
Ayansh (mocking smile): "And yet, here we are again. Another incident, another excuse."
Anvi (challenging): "Apologies are for people who deserve them. And you, Mr. Kapoor, seem too full of yourself to ever qualify for one."
Ayansh (smirking): "And you, Ms. Attitude, seem to think overconfidence is a personality trait."
Their banter escalated until people started watching. Frustrated, Anvi stormed off, leaving Ayansh with an amused smile.
As she walked away, she muttered under her breath,
"Why do I keep running into him? Ugh, I hate him!"
Meanwhile, Ayansh watched her go, a flicker of intrigue in his eyes,
"This girl… always looking for a fight with me."
Present: Anvi’s Hidden Confusion
Snapping out of her thoughts, Anvi muttered to herself,
"I have a million reasons to hate him. Who does he think he is? Mr. Perfect? Hmph!"
But her heartbeat had quickened, her hands clenched involuntarily.
Ragini and Mahi exchanged knowing glances.
They had seen her expressions change. A plan formed in their minds—they were going to tease her endlessly!
What happens next?
Will Anvi’s dislike for Ayaan change after meeting him again?
Is their rivalry just a misunderstanding, or is there something deeper?
Will their fiery clashes turn into something unexpected?
