chapter 2: Under the fireworks

Naglalakad kami ni Alex sa mayroong fireworks display sa amusement park. Ang gabi ay puno ng mga kulay at mga tunog ng mga paputok. Nakangiti ako habang nakahawak sa kamay ni Alex.

"I'm so happy to be here with you," sabi ko habang nakatingin sa mga fireworks.

Alex smiled back at me. "Me too, Sofia. I'm glad we could make it tonight."

As we walked, the fireworks lit up the sky with vibrant colors. I felt like a kid again, mesmerized by the beauty of the display. We passed by the Ferris wheel, which was also lit up with colorful lights.

"Ang ganda ng view dito," sabi ko kay Alex.

"Oo, talaga," sagot niya. "I'm glad we decided to come here tonight."

We continued walking and found a good spot to watch the fireworks. The sky was filled with colorful explosions, and the sound of the fireworks was deafening.

Bigla na lang, Alex stopped and turned to me. "Sofia, can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked, his voice sounding serious.

I nodded, wondering what was on his mind. "Oo, anong gusto mong sabihin?"

Alex took a deep breath and looked into my eyes. "Sofia, from the moment I met you, I knew that you were someone special. You light up my world in ways that I never thought possible."

My heart skipped a beat as I listened to his words. "Alex, I feel the same way about you," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

Alex smiled and took my hand. "Sofia, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?"

I was taken aback by the proposal. I didn't expect it, but at the same time, it felt right. "Oo, oo, a million times yes!" I exclaimed, tears of joy streaming down my face.

Alex placed the ring on my finger, and I couldn't help but gasp at its beauty. It was a stunning diamond ring that sparkled under the light of the fireworks.

As we hugged and kissed, the fireworks exploded in the sky, lighting up the moment with vibrant colors. It was a moment I would never forget.

"Nag-propose ka sa akin sa fireworks display," I said, still in shock. "Ang ganda ng timing mo."

Alex chuckled. "I wanted it to be special, something you'll always remember."

I smiled, feeling grateful for the love we shared. "I'll never forget this moment, Alex. I love you."

"I love you too, Sofia," Alex replied, his eyes shining with happiness.

As we stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, I knew that this was just the beginning of our journey together. And I couldn't wait to see what the future held for us.

"Anong gagawin natin next?" I asked, curiosity getting the better of me.

Alex grinned mischievously. "I have a few ideas. But first, let's enjoy this moment. We can worry about the details later."

"We should call our friends and family to share the news, tomorrow let's go at my parents place , papakilala kita " Alex said, excitement shining in his eyes.

I nodded, "Oo, let's do it."

"I love you too, Sofia," Alex replied, his voice filled with emotion.

As we walked off into the night, hand in hand, I knew that our love would last a lifetime.
