Chapter 8: Trial of the Three Lords

The Battlefield of Gods

Ryuzen stood in the center of the shattered battlefield, golden energy radiating from his body. His newly awakened God Avatar form pulsed with infinite potential, the sheer weight of his aura causing cracks to spread beneath his feet.

Before him stood three of the most powerful beings in existence—

Malicera, the Cursed Queen, wrapped in flowing black robes, shadows curling around her like living tendrils. Her eyes glowed with a dark crimson light, filled with ancient hatred.

Fenrir of the Sun, a towering beast with golden fur, his body a living star, radiating both scorching heat and terrifying killing intent.

Azrael, the Final Blade, a swordsman who carried a single blade that reflected the end of all things. His aura was impossibly sharp, as if reality itself bent around his presence.

All three of them stared at Ryuzen with unshaken confidence.

Malicera spoke first, her voice like silken venom.

"You have potential, boy. But do not mistake your evolution for true divinity."

Fenrir cracked his neck, a low growl rumbling in his throat.

"Tch. Enough talking. Let’s tear him apart."

Azrael smirked, tapping his blade against his shoulder.

"Shall we begin?"

Ryuzen clenched his fists, his God Avatar form shifting as he prepared for the greatest battle of his life.

A Battle Beyond Mortal Limits

Without warning, Fenrir lunged forward, his claws coated in sunfire, slashing toward Ryuzen’s throat at blinding speed.

CLANG!

Ryuzen barely managed to block, his sword meeting Fenrir’s claws in a fiery collision. The sheer impact sent shockwaves rippling across the land, flattening nearby mountains.

"Not bad!" Fenrir roared, pressing forward.

But before Ryuzen could counterattack—

Dark chains erupted from the ground, wrapping around his arms and legs!

Malicera’s Cursed Binding Magic locked his movements in place.

"Did you forget I was here?" she whispered, her voice dripping with amusement.

At that moment, Azrael vanished—

—And reappeared behind Ryuzen, his sword flashing.

"End of All Things."

A golden arc of light slashed toward Ryuzen’s back.

The moment the attack landed—

BOOM!

A massive explosion of power engulfed the battlefield, a towering inferno of destruction that burned away even the sky itself.

The Awakening of a True God

For a moment, silence.

The dust settled.

Malicera, Fenrir, and Azrael stood, waiting to see the result of their attack.

Then—

A golden aura erupted from the crater.

Ryuzen stepped forward, completely unharmed.

His God Avatar form had evolved even further. His body now radiated limitless divine energy, the sigils of infinity glowing across his chest and arms.

The system’s notification flashed.

New Effect: Can now override any curse or debuff.

New Effect: Can copy the abilities of opponents and merge them into his own.

New Effect: Can summon an infinite number of avatars, each wielding unique powers.

Ryuzen grinned.

"My turn."

In an instant, he vanished.

Before Malicera could react, he appeared behind her.

"You like curses?" he whispered. "Then take your own medicine."

He raised a single finger—

—and Malicera’s own dark chains wrapped around her!

"What?!"

Before she could break free, Ryuzen snapped his fingers, and the chains exploded in a blast of holy energy, sending her crashing into the ground.

Fenrir roared in fury, lunging forward again—

But Ryuzen simply held up a hand.

"Avatar Skill: Infinite Clone Manifestation."

Hundreds of golden copies of himself materialized in an instant, each one wielding a different class.

One wielded a spear of pure lightning.

Another controlled the gravity around them.

A third burned with the power of a celestial dragon.

They all attacked at once.

Fenrir was overwhelmed.

Even with his immense power, he was forced onto the defensive, blocking blows from every direction.

And then—

Ryuzen teleported directly above him, his hand glowing with divine energy.

"Titan God’s Fist."

He slammed his fist down—

And Fenrir was sent plummeting into the earth, forming a crater so deep that molten lava erupted from below.

Azrael, the last remaining warrior, smiled.

"So you’ve finally become worthy."

Ryuzen turned to face him, his golden aura crackling with limitless energy.

"Come at me, then."

Azrael raised his blade—

And time itself shattered around them.

The Final Duel: Blade Against Divinity

Azrael’s sword did not simply cut flesh—it cut fate itself.

With a single swing, he erased entire moments of reality, turning them into nothingness.

"You see, Ryuzen," Azrael said, "My blade is the concept of the finality of all things. Even gods must die."

The duel began.

Each of Ryuzen’s attacks was cut away before they even existed.

Azrael moved faster than cause and effect, his sword slashing apart the very concept of Ryuzen’s actions before they could take form.

But Ryuzen only smiled.

"Then I’ll become something even beyond gods."

His Golden Sigils of Infinity pulsed—

And time, space, and causality themselves bent to his will.

"Avatar Skill: Boundless Creation."

He reached beyond existence—

And created a sword that countered Azrael’s ability.

Azrael’s eyes widened.

"Impossible!"

Their swords clashed.

The sky split apart.

Reality tore at the seams.

And in the end—

Azrael’s blade shattered.

He stood frozen as Ryuzen’s sword rested against his neck.

For the first time, the Final Blade was defeated.

Azrael let out a breath—then smiled.

"You pass."

With that, he vanished into golden light.

Fenrir and Malicera, both heavily injured, also smiled before fading away.

The Final Challenge

The battlefield was empty now.

Only Ryuzen remained, standing above the wreckage of gods.

The Seeker stepped forward, clapping his hands slowly.

"You’ve surpassed even my expectations."

Ryuzen turned to face him, his golden energy still burning bright.

"Then that means I’m ready for the final trial."

The Seeker smiled.

"Indeed. If you can defeat me—"

"You will become the one true Avatar God."

Ryuzen’s blood boiled with excitement.

This was it.

The final battle was about to begin.
