Whispers in the rain

" It looks like it's going to rain, we should head back" Mia told Blade as she noticed that it started to drizzle. "Chill it's just a little rain, or are you scared?" Blade told Mia giggling at her. "No it's just that....." She was cut off by the sound of thunder. Within seconds the rain came pouring down on them.

Blade and Mia took cover under a shed that was located close to the garden. Blade felt playful, so he went out of the shelter and stood under the rain "Are you crazy, you might catch a cold" Mia said worried about her friend. "I'm a vampire remember, I can't catch a cold". Blade said smiling at Mia before pulling her into the rain.

They danced and twirled under the rain, both feeling as happy as ever. Blade pulled her closer until they were only inches apart. Both looking at each other with mixed emotions. "Your eyes are really beautiful" Blade said to Mia until they were only a lips distance apart. Mia closed her eyes but realized what she was about to do in time, so she pushed him away in time.

"Woah there mister slow down don't get so carried away by my beauty, were just friends you know, and it's going to stay that way". Mia said in a shocked by Blades actions. "Don't get so ahead of yourself, I just said I liked your eyes". Blade said still shocked by himself, he couldn't believe that he tried to kiss her. "We should head back to the dorm since were drenched already". Mia said looking at Blade before running back to the school.

Mia ran back to her dorm before Blade could realize what was happening. Mia arrived at her dorm to meet Raven who was patiently waiting for her." Where were you all night". Raven said looking at Mia who got soaked in the rain. " I went to the... uh, look we have a new BTS poster". Mia said trying to change the topic, but Raven was not having it." That's not an answer Mia". Raven told Mia still studying her expressions. "Well I'm really soaked, and need a bath so good night." Mia said before running to the bathroom and shutting the door behind her.

The next day Mia acted like not happened the previous night. She just kept everything normal with Blade, and he had no problem with that, he was just happy to be a step ahead of River.

"Okay class you've all heard about the upcoming school dance coming up in next week, Be sure to bring your dates over and have fun with your friends". Mrs Kim said before leaving the class.

River didn't waste any time. He went straight to Mia's table. "So you coming" River said, leaning on Mia's desk. "Sure I guess it'll be fun". Mia said smiling at River "Good, then it's a date". River said to Mia not even giving her time to answer before skipping happily back to his seat. Mia felt happy to see him happy, she really cared for her friend.

The next day Blade approached Mia to ask her about the dance. "Did you hear about the upcoming school dance". Blade asked Mia,"Yeah I have". Mia said to Blade thinking of how to tell him that River already asked her to the dance.

Blade who was clueless about what happened kept going" So you have plans for that day?" Blade said hoping to go to the school dance with her. "Sorry Blade, but River already asked me to Go to the dance with him". Mia told Blade with a calm tone, but Blade was heartbroken, he couldn't believe he let River ask Mia out before he could.

It was not long before the day of the school dance arrived. Every one was having fun with each other while Blade and River were searching for Mia everywhere. It was not long before Mia to the school dance wearing a stunning black dress, her hair was packed up and earrings brought out her eyes. Her eye color has been loved by many people, because it is really rear and only two percent of people in the world have that eye color.

Both boys who were caught up in her beauty came up to her both stretching out their hands for her to take. Mia stood on the stairs thinking of whose hand she could take.
